Getting back to the gym

I am about 7 weeks post op from the sleeve. I have lost 42 pounds since surgery and 88 pounds total. I am eating the right foods and drinking water. My struggle as been exercise. I was all about it before surgery and after I haven’t been able to have the motivation to get back to the gym. I feel like I am behind where I should be in weight loss and I feel it is the exercise portions.

I am looking for any tips or advise on how to get back the motivation to exercise.

Thank you for the support.

Sometimes motivation is tricky so i don't rely on it, instead try i make it routine. Build it into your life make it habit so that when motivation fails you have a pattern to fall back on. Can you find ways to casually slip exercises into your life that don't seem like huge adjustments? like lunges, planks, squats, taking the stairs for no reason, small dance parties just because, walking instead of driving to the store, etc. That way attending the gym does not dictate whether or not you exercise

I always feel so much better after the workout than i did before.

For me at least it kills any hunger i had before and i dont want to eat for a couple hours after i workout
