I understand, im 50 and have those same thoughts. Its normal to be scared, have fears. And sit down with your child and tell him that your having the surgery to have more years with him. Ee haven't told our kids yet ages 33, 30, 25, 20 and 17 due to not wanting them to worry. We got this, we will be better for our kids. Hi guys, welcome to all. I am thru all the have to do list, cleared for everything, i am just waiting on my surgery date. The waiting is killing me, at least when i had all the appts to go to time went fast. Everytime my phone rings my heart skips a beat. My final appt and clearance was 04/04 so all info sent off to BCBS, hoping to hear back quick since we already verified coverage during my process, but over 2 weeks and Im still waiting for my call to give me my surgery date.
