    I started this journey at 336 and have only lost 20 pounds in 7 months post op i will be going on the liquid diet here shortly 2 weeks before my surgery so ill loose a little more before going under

    So i found out from my surgeon that before they send my info to the insurance that i had to be cleared from a pulmonary doctor and a cardiac doctor. Did anyone else have to be cleared by these doctors through your insurance. I have state insurance and apparently they changed the requirements a while back.     Im 3 months into my journey i have my egd scheduled for 5/8 and slightly nervous about it. I just have to do 3 more months of medically supervised weight loss and then they submit everything into insurance. Ill have my surgery probably end of july early august and im nervous and excited at the same time. Would like to hear if anyone is at the same stage as me or even closer to their surgery date.

    Ill be having surgery around the end july early august as well i go for my egd the 8th and have 3 more weigh ins till they can send it through the insurance.
