I dont get soup, or meat at all. On my day before surgery i think i can have 1 cup of broth. But not on the 14 day liquid diet. I am looking forward to the broth. Im doing really good surprisingly, this week at work will go fast because i will be so busy. Today was hard just because we had the family over for chicken Alfredo, that's one of my favorite but i didnt cheat i had my sugar free jello instead...so proud of myself. we are almost there. Im on day 7 of a two week liquid diet, its going ok. Not great, not terrible. Its mostly a mind game. Drinking lots of water helps me, so far I've lost 9lbs. So ready for surgery May 29th. Hi guys, i have surgery on May 29, so im in single digits...yay this is day 7 of a 14 day liquid diet im allowed 3 protein shakes, 1 sugar free jello or sugar free popsicle a day. Lots of water. I am allowed decaf coffee but not a coffee drinker. So far lost 9 lbs, and I'm surprised at how good i feel. Really no hunger pains at all. The smell drives me crazy, but that passes quickly.
