How many days off for weight loss surgery?

What is everyone’s surgeon saying on days off? My surgery date is January 24th so I need to put in for my days. I’ve only put in for 5 so far. But what is everyone’s doctors saying? Mine said a week but I’m wondering how realistic that is. I’m a teachers assistant at a preschool and I know for a fact I won’t be lifting or anything but I am just wondering. Thanks in advance! -

See I think if I know I have to like when I had csection with my son I’ll be okay! My co-teachers are offering to do all lifting and I can always set when I’m tired! Plus I’m off bus duty for 3 weeks!
