  1. I swore that I posted already, but I can’t find my post. Hopefully this isn’t a duplicate post. Surgery was 6/4/18 (VSG). I’m down 90lbs. I went from a size 16 to a size 4. I’m kind of at my goal and kind of want to lose another 10 lbs. Time flies you guys. http://www.instagram.com/Vsg4me2please

    June 4th surgery twins?

I had to buy a two week supply of optifast and 1 month of postop vitamins from my doctor. I would have rather dieted on my own, but this is a requirement that my doctor has. I woke up at 3am last night with my stomach gurgling. I drunk some water and went back to sleep.
  4. I don’t know about you, but for me it has been a long time coming. Anyone else having surgery June 4th? I really anticipated that I would have been sleeved by now. Oh well, good thing come to those who wait. So how is your preop diet going? Feeling anxious or more excited? I am counting the days, but there is also some anxiety sprinkled in as I get closer to my surgery date.
  5. I started my pre-op diet yesterday. I am to drink four optifast shakes a day. In addition to the shakes, I can have decaf tea or coffee, sugar free popsicles, broth, and sugar free water add ins. With that much fluid intake, I wasn’t surprised that I was running to the restroom all day. I am surprised that I went five times last night too. I also weighed myself and I am 3 pounds heavier. This is a surprise because I had a total of 825 calories the whole day. It is also concerning because I have to lose 5 lbs by my weigh in day on 5/31. Anyone familiar with optifast? What was your experience?
  6. My surgery June 4th. Today is the first official preop diet day.

    Hospital bag suggestions

@kakatlady612 I can totally picture your talking as I read your post. I even read the post in a vague, undistinguishable, country/southern accent. I’m sure that. I have the accent all wrong. Too cute!
