Funny, the older I get, the younger 60 looks! I'm 59, my sister is picking me up in 3 hours, and I will be on my way to the hospital to be banded! Hooray! I've already lost 9 pounds in the last 2 weeks, cutting back and trying out protein drinks, etc. You young "dogs" out there are not the only kids on the block who can change their lives for the better. :huh2: Pat, Cat, and Cutie. Hang in there, we're almost there! I'm not required to do the 2week fast, but simply liquids the day before surgery. However, from all I've read, I decided yesterday, in my quiet time, that it was time for ME to do my part in this and stop binging and start eating right. Saying good-bye to all junk food, concentrating on the protein and water. Getting a little nervous, but more excited! Pressing on to April 22nd! Peace. Jeanie
