    Any February Sleevers?

My Nutritionist said to try and get 400-500 calories a day for the first week but mostly to focus on getting in enough liquids. 48-64 Oz of liquids a day. I reached my calorie goal easily when I ate Cream of Wheat. I waited about a week after surgery to eat that though, but it is high in Carbs and calories but delicious and pretty easy to get down. I am now in my second week and am told to get in 500-600 calories a day. My surgery was on 2/12 and I just got back to work today. I work a desk job. I am still in some pain and wish I could take some of my harder meds, but I will wait until after work so that I can stay coherent.

    Any February Sleevers?

I don't have a pre-surgery diet! Just nothing after midnight the night before and had to stop taking all my vitamins.
  5. One week from today!

  6. My family Dr cleared me for surgery. My glucose level was slightly high but I have been eating a bit more carbs then I should. I am down another lb though so I only have 90 more to go! It will go fast after surgery I am sure. I got my surgery time too. 7 am on 2/12!

    Weird food tolerance changes

This is so exciting! I have my surgery in 12 days and last night I ate McDonalds thinking I will be sad not to ever eat it again. I hope to not crave their French fries anymore! I want to start liking onions and peppers because I currently hate them! lol.
  9. I agree with everyone! You are doing amazing! No need to be discouraged. You are doing this for you not for your surgeon! You need to set realist goals and that is more then most people loose upfront. That is really pushing it! You aren't gaining so I think you are doing great!
  10. That is pretty crazy but also understandable I think. I think if your spouse is on board with you during this life change and you have a good marriage then it shouldn't effect the marriage. I have a cousin though who lost a ton of weight and left her husband. She completely changed and I am not even sure if she had a surgery or not but her ex husband is still very obese. I am sure there was more to that but still. I am currently single and have been trying to not date for the last few months so I can focus on bettering myself. Now that my surgery is in 2 weeks I am realizing that I want to stay single during this journey. I am doing this for my own self-esteem and health. I don't need the pressure of trying to look good for a bf and dragging him along on this life changing journey. I am expecting a lot of ups and downs.
  11. My goals for post surgery: Goal Weight: 148, Goal Size: 6, I don't want to go below a C cup! I want to love my body naked! This will take extra work at the gym! I got this!!
