Hello Gloria. I'm from beautiful Northern California too and my surgery is on Dec 18 as well. I'm on day 6 on my liquid shake fast. I'm not losing as fast as I though so I am dropping the broth too. Add some exercise I was told so I have been doing a bit more. Keep in touch. We've got this.

My date is Dec 18.

Just a tip. Don't gain too much on your last hurrah before your pre op fast(mine is two weeks) I gained 10 and now I'm struggling to make my required goal by the 12th . I added so much unnecessary stress to my journey. So don't do that.

I'm day 3 pre op liquid fast. I gained too much before the fast and now I am pushing it and in fear I won't make the goal. I need 5 lb in 6 days.

Hi I'm a Dec 18 sleever. I'm day three of my pre op fast. I need to lose 5 by the 12th to get the clearance from my nutritionist. I have hope.

I'm in the same boat and I'm worried. I have to be down 5 in 6 days. I'm on the pro op shakes but will I lose a pound per day? That would be horrible to come all this way and be denied surgery.

I'm glad things are going well. What are you eating? Are you going to try Campbell creamed soups when you can go on full liquid?
