I'm being sleeved on November 28th, do you always get a drain and does it stay in for a couple days? I don't recall anyone mentioning in my appointments a drain. I am staying in the town where I'm having surgery for a few days and then flying home. Now I'm starting to worry that I'll have to go back to have a drain removed before I can leave. Any thoughts. Has anyone had a similar situation. I have to travel a long distance from home to have the surgery. A friend will be taking me to the hospital and picking me up, will stay with them for a day or two then have a short hour long flight to my mother's. Until I am able to come home. Does that seem reasonable that I can fly short distance without too much trouble? Do I have to be able to go back and see the surgeon after surgery. I have been on antidepressants for over 14 years. Does anyone know if you continue taking your same doses after surgery. No Problem MarinaGirl. I appreciate any responses I can get, any info is better than none, and hearing opposing opinions is also good. Will help me, ultimately it is the surgeon who will decide for sure whether or not I can have Sleeve, so I will study up more on RNY to be prepared in case that is the outcome. Thank you again
