    I've been using my computer, nose mask for about 3 years now. It was tough at first, it was loud, uncomfortable and didn't feel normal. I forced myself to wear it nightly, now I can't sleep without it.

    I've dealt with an abusive spouse before... He's my EX now. An EXample of what to never be around again.

    Only advice I can give as I don't know you or your wife, is to talk to someone close to you, so maybe they can talk to her as well. Focus on getting better, not just for you but for your children as well. Get your strength back and then decide if the relationship is healthy and if not, how to correct it. Good luck. God bless

    My date has finally arrived! It’s been a long 8 months but I am so ready. Clear Liquids today. That’s not fun, but it’s going to be so worth it. Pre surgery I have lost 30 lbs and can really tell. I already have so much more energy. Every day I do something that I haven’t been able to do for a long time.

    My surgeon said the largest incision on the left abdominal area would be the sorest. Hope they sent you home with pain meds. Pain meds won't take it completely away, it'll just decrease it so you can relax.
    I've had other abdominal surgeries before, and they were all painful even with meds.
    If your pain is out of control, then call the surgeons office.
    Rest, no lifting, no stretching, no twisting, walk slow pace. Best of luck.
