This was one of my hugest fears, and since I liked the way I look big, as did my husband it made the fear worse. Plenty of good men like a big women but who has a loose skin fetish?
At the end of the day I have two small kids that need their mommy, so I had to throw my aesthetic concerns out.
My advice, think about why you are having surgery. If it is for merely aesthetics, maybe it is not the best choice for you. If it is for your health and longevity then you have your answer. All best.

looking old and living to be old are a fair trade off for me sorry you do not seem to agree.

Absolutely!!! I only with I would have done it 10 years ago before I lost both of my feet to diabetes. I had surgery 11/2 since then I’ve lost 80 lbs off diabetic and BP meds all together this was absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made.

Hello everyone my name is Keilee and I’m new here. I had the gastric sleeve on the 20th of February. Before the pre op diet I was 317lbs After the pre op diet I was 306lbs and then 2 weeks post op I was 276lbs. within a week my weight shot back up to 295lbs.
I’ll admit I haven’t been as active as I should be but I’m active now, I mentioned that to my doctor already. Now I have a new problem. I’m not getting full! I’m not even so much as satisfied. I was able to eat 2 scrambled eggs today and I had a tuna pack 1 hour before that. I don’t get sick but I have eaten things ahead of my current step by mistake. On top of that I experience little to no pain. I feel very normal actually.

Did my stomach stretch out? I feel depressed now because I think it stretched out and it was a waste.

So I'm going into my 4th week and starting soft foods, My surgery was nov. 14th so almost a month. I've just started soft food and meat, but as excited as I was to get to this stage I'm a little disappointed in how much I did not care for eating real food. I've gotten so used to Protein Shakes and my own blended shakes I don't really like how real food feels going down. I chew 40 times and eat very slowly and it still hurts sometimes. Maybe due to my hiatal hernia repair. Any one else feel this way post op?
