PB'ing all the time and only being able to only liquids does not sound good at all! You might think about calling your doc and maybe getting a small unfill. Let us know how you are doing! 3 days until I get my port replaced! Not a moment too soon... I ahve gained 4 pounds in the past few weeks! YIKES! Peace!

Hubby and I were Britney and Kevin.... what's up ya'll?? LOL! It was a blast! We also had a Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth, a Mark Foley complete with page, 80's era Madonna, and a stalker complete with full black outfit, handcuffs and rope. It was a great party!

Hey everyone! Sounds like you all are doing great. I am sicker than a dog right now! Some kind of cold or something that has settled right in my throat. My voice is awful... but at least I can talk today, yesterday not so much. So I took a sick day yesterday! Since I answer phones all day I thought it was for the best. LOL. Today customers keep asking me if I'm sick and giving me their remedies to kick this cold. Pretty funny! One week from day and I will have my new port and tubing and hopefully have some restriction! Woohoo! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Peace.

Puglet.... sounds a bit odd to me that you are getting a fill and your not even on solids yet. How will you know if you can eat real food before your fill? Is this your doc's usual practice?

Phenry... I didn't know for sure that I had a leak until I had a fill under flouro with contrast. It was suspected after my third fill and nothing left in the band from previous fills. The flouro confirmed our suspicions of a leak. I am only being charged for the cost of the new port, the OR fee's and anesthesia. Dr K is not charging me for his time or his assistants. The cost is MUCh less than the original surgery. The port and tubing will be sent back to Inamed after it is removed for inspection. They will determine the problem and decide whether it was a defect in the tubing or if it was punctured with a needle or whatever. I won't know any more until that determination is made. I am having this done on November 2, next week. Hope this answers your questions.

I read on tmz.com last week that this house got shut down and they had to stop filming after numerous complaints from neighbors. Apparently they didn't appreciate the traffic and constant drama and turmoil that went on in their neighborhood as a result of this show. Can't say I blame them too much!

I don't know if this has been said already or not, if so forgive me.... she talks about this in the weeks edition of People magazine. She talk about having the band and her eating disorder and her family. Check it out!

I had my first fill at 4 weeks and had no problems.

You won't have restriction until you start getting fills and it may take a few before you get good restriction. Until then... good old fashioned will power! It has about killed me but I have maintained my loss and not gained anything since I discovered I had a leak almost 6 weeks or so ago. My band is currently empty until I get it fixed next week. I understand how you are feeling right now. YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS! PM me if you wanna talk! Peace.

There isn't much of a reason for a cath since the time in the OR is so short. I would double check with your doc to be sure though.

Hey all! Paladin my friend! Glad to see you've made your way back to us. I was just thinking about you guys the other day. Glad to hear things are going well for you guys. Tell 3loves I miss her!! Two weeks to go until my replacement surgery. I just want it over with! I tested for a new job last weekend and am anxiuosly awaiting a call back to find out how I did. It is a job in the city I grew up in as a 911 dispatcher. I am ready to move on from my current job, bennies suck and there is no room for advancement unless someone dies...lol. Keep your fingers crossed for me! A friend invited me to go to NYC with her in December for the weekend. I am trying to decide if I am going or not. I have never been there and would LOVE to go but it is alot of $$ to only be there for 24 hours! Help me decide!! Have a great day! Peace.

I would get a fill done under flouro with contrast before I would even begin to think about needing any kind of repairs. How will they know what to repair if they don't see where (if) you are leaking from? Sorry.... hot issue for me as I am currently going through this. :faint: Peace!

I have a leak in my tubing right above my port. The cause is unknown until it gets back to Inamed for inspection. Yes, for now I am paying. Dr K says he will go to bat for me if it is a defect.
