  1. Are you sure your kicked out? My office said that if they find nicotine that they wait 2 months. I am so sorry that has to be hard. But don’t get to discouraged there are so many programs that will be happy to take you some don’t even test for nicotine. It’s just a delay but not the end!
  2. I am 16 days post op today.. and I am sorry this is kinda a rant... I just joined this forum so if this is not posted correctly I apologize for this also! I’ve been reading over a lot of questions and comments and I see people saying how they’ve lost a lot of weight. I went into surgery at 260lbs came out of surgery at 266lbs got back to 260 a week later due to water weight... so I was told. At my follow up two week appointment today I have only lost 6 pounds! I understand that my body is healing and I can’t compare myself to others but it’s so hard not to feel crappy, and scared that this isn’t working.. Did/has anyone lost a good amount of weight from the sleeve but had a slow start? I Feel like my mind is playing tricks on me, i’m already thinking maybe I’m eating to much... knowing that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be when I’m eating if not not eating enough... Urgh just so frustrating... I really just want to smack myself and tell myself to chill out... but my Brian will not stop... lol

    One day after

The first couple of days where terrible! I am 10 days out and I feel like a whole new person with the first 3 to 5 are the worst I promise it gets better!
  5. I am on day 10 post op... I think you are exactly where you’re supposed to be. I know personally I can’t get nearly as much liquid as they tell me to in. My dietitian even told me that I need to wake up early to start sipping to be able to get in enough liquids but in reality when you’re home things don’t always work out like that. my surgeon told me when I was leaving that if you get more than five or six fluid ounces in an hour you stretch out your stomach and it will make you sick. What helped me to be able to get more ounces in the hour and not every 15 minutes was to change my cups or what I was drinking out of. I find when I drink out of the Nutrisystem cups I can drink more.
  6. 12 days post op! Hey everyone! It’s killing me not to be able to go swimming! I have my check up in two days to see if I am healed enough!
