  1. Thanks everyone! I'm feeling great! I can't wait for the next chapter of my life... aka tummy tuck and Boob lift [emoji39]
  2. I had bypass on 4/23/18. My starting weight was 340lbs. I'm currently 221lbs. That's a total weight loss of 119lbs! I honestly can't tell you a time I remember being this small my entire life. I'm so happy! First goal: 250lbs [emoji818] Second goal: 225lbs [emoji818] Third goal: 199lbs ...*pending* Final goal: 160-170lbs I never worked out until this month. These last 22lbs until onederland are stubborn. I'm also doing keto and intermittent fasting. This surgery changed my life. I'm almost positive I would be closer to 400lbs by now if I didn't have this surgery.
  3. Aw, i'm glad I could inspire someone ♡♡♡ you look beautiful!
  4. I LOVE it! It looks soooo cute and fits you well!! I'm glad you went for it. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  5. Congrats!! Cant actor until i'm thereee too! I'll be with you in onederland 26lbs from now!
  6. Girl, you got this! Let me know if you need any tips! 115lbs down, 8 months post op! I'm no pro, but I've been where you're at.
  7. I take pictures every first of the month. I shaved my head 9/1/18
  8. My hair started to grow back in literally immediately. It kinda pissed me off! For some reason when I had long hair all I did was lose it. I shave my head and BOOM growth.
  9. I can't even tell where the losses were previously but it's probably because I shaved my entire head lol
  10. Thank you everyone for your support and compliments! I'm not 100% a fan on my hair right now but it's coming along. I started losing my hair about 3-4 months after surgery. Honestly, it was my fault. I got sick after surgery and could barely eat. I didn't keep up with my protein and vitamins either. I lost a good portion of my hair within a month span. When I say I just a bald spot, I mean it was so bad that a top hair piece couldn't even cover it. I had no choice but to shave my head. I wore a wig at work and no one noticed. I hated these last 3 months but i'm happier now. Hair loss It'll be okay! Make sure you're keeping up with your vitamins, eating enough and getting in that protein!!! I was not.
  11. 340lbs to 227lbs! 8 months out. I'm hoping to be in onederland by my 1 year anniversary! (4/23)
  12. I'm at 234lbs... I didn't lose anything in November and half way through December i'm only a pound down. I've been in a stall for a month and a half. Old eating habits are starting to creep back in & I'm scared. I think i'm going to reach out to a therapist & a nutritionist. I don't want this opportunity I've been given to go to waste. I'm a total of 106lbs down & that's amazing. I never thought I'd be this far! But i'm ready to lose more. I want to hit onderland!
  13. You look like a completely different person!
  14. Thought I'd share some pics of my progress! Everyone is KILLING IT! keep up with the updates. They're motivating.
  15. A pillow for the ride home to hold against my tummy.
  16. I just reached 6 months 5 days ago and I'm 103lbs down. I went from 340lbs to 237! I'm proud but the weight loss has slowed down immensely. I need to start working out![emoji24]
  17. Thank you everyone! It sucks that I lost a ton of hair but screw it, ya know?! I'm feeling good & felt like it was the best move for me!
  18. Long story short, I shaved my head due to MASSIVE hair loss after bypass. I was losing clumps of hair every day and had a very obvious bald spot. I bought a hair topper wig to cover it with but it only helped for 2 weeks before it no longer covered the growing baldness. So I said screw it.... and shaved my entire head! I feel empowered. It's something I've always wanted to do. I'm also 248lbs currently! My starting weight was 340lbs. Worth the hair loss
  19. I just bought a wig topper this week! It's really nice. Looks very natural and was about $180. I'm still losing a ton of hair but at least I have my confidence back... for now! I lose the most hair after washing it so i only wash it once a week.
  20. I know it doesn't last very long... but with the amount I'm losing... I won't have any hair by then. I'm not even being dramatic. I can tea l run my hands through my hair and have a fist full of hair. I'm seriously debating just shaving my entire hair so when it does grow back it'll look even. I'm sick of having strands of hair everywhere... sigh!
  21. How long did it take for the hair loss to stop?? I'm ready for this to be over [emoji24]
  22. I had surgery in April. It's been 4 months. I went from 340lbs to 255lbs, which is a total of 85lbs down. I'd rather have the weight loss than the hair anyways but... I just need a moment to mourn the loss of my hair! I'm literally pulling clumps out every day. Some people say they can't notice their hair loss. You can 100% notice mine. I hope it stops soon otherwise I won't have any hair left over! I'm going to buy a wig topper this weekend. Sighhh.... can't wait for regrowth.
