My surgeon was Dr. Medlin, from The BMI institute. I have talked to them thoroughly and I am ok with the surgery I had. I won't need to take as many vitamins, I won't have diarrhea as much either. This is what they told me. Only time will tell. So now I know I had the loop ds surgery. Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

I belong to a Facebook group. Well they have me freaking out. On Oct 17, 2017 I had DS surgery. Well now I find out my surgeon doesn't perform the original ds. But a new one. I'm not sure which one I had but I looked on their website and it explains the steps to the surgery. I guess I got a DS loop, or SADI, I'm really dismayed. I feel like I did this all for nothing.
