    Thank you!! Appreciate that!!

I do a Premier Protein shake every morning, an egg and bacon or ham or sausage link for mid morning snack (work cafeteria makes this one easy). lunch is a few ounces of tuna, chicken or egg salad with a few pickles or cherry tomatoes. Afternoon snack is Dannon light and fit greek yogurt. dinner is a Protein and little bit of veggie and then some type of snack in the evening (almonds, peanuts, etc). Dinner is pretty much the meal where I have the most variety. Other than that I'm content to be set in my ways and have the same routine just about every day. It's working so far so I figure I'll stick with it. I don't really get a sweet tooth but every once and a while I will have a piece of sugar free candy.

I do about 110oz of Water everyday and 90-110 grams of protein.

I was going to agree with you but you seem to be just as rude as some others in this forum. Why are you asking someone if they have been to the gym today? Are you trying to make her feel bad for not going to the gym? That’s pretty low. We are all here for a reason. We are or were severely over weight. No need to belittle someone and tell them they need to be more productive.

Our plan was similar, starting with purees and soft foods as tolerated, along with liquids, from the hospital on out. They had been doing sleeves for some twenty years in their practice at that point, so I figure they know what it can tolerate. The general rule was to try new things one at a time to test for tolerance. I can't quite remember what I had when, but certainly had yogurt,-eggs, Soups - starting with straining any chunks, then mashing up the chunks, cheeses, etc. The majority of the Protein was from shakes at first, and that gives you the flexibility to try other things in between to see how you are progressing. Some have more inflammation in the stomach than others, so will be less tolerant of non-liquids for a while. YMMV. Take it slow and easy, and get all your Water in. I would tend to leave the meats toward a little later in the progression, and the moister, fatter dark meat poultry tends to go down better than the drier white meat.
For having on hand ahead of time, I would suggest some yogurt, eggs and a selection of soups, from broth based to cream based and chunky. Jello made with protein is also a good early food for getting your protein in - whatever your dietary allowances in your program, you will likely still be getting most of your protein from supplements for a while, as you just can't eat much of any other protein sources to do the job, yogurt and eggs being the main ones that you will likely be able to have an any useful quantity.

This sites reputation is unfortunate. Not looking for responses on this post. Sad, but I already know the dramatic post will follow.....
Many members here are supportive and do their best to give perspective and advice.
Advice that may be bad, good, mean, sugar coated, judgmental, inappropriate, You are adults, You decide what to read and respond to. Take what is useful and leave the rest.
Same BS different day - Who said anyone had to like, approve or agree with anything posted in any forum? The different perspectives, advice and personality types seem to shock some of you. How you interpret and respond to posts is your own issue.
Some people thrive on negative attention and conflict. Learn to recognise that they are baiting you into an argument or drama. Learn to ignore them and move on. Or set your ignore button.
Be aware some people register for this site that are not bariatric patients. They love it when they get you to respond and argue. You are their cheap thrill of entertainment if they can make you angry.

I am sorry that you are going through this. You are not alone in these feelings that you have. The important thing to remember is that surgery does not change your mind. I would suggest that surgery can bring up a whole new mess of feelings that you actually may not have even experienced before. It is important to speak to a therapist, or at least someone in your circle whom you trust will support you.
Head hunger is real, but that doesn't mean that you have to succumb to your food addiction. I often hear my daughter tell me that she is hungry only to refuse all of the food that I offer her. She would prefer something "good", which is basically junk food or fast food. I tell her, "Well, then you aren't hungry." If you are feeling hunger, whether it be head hunger or real hunger, you are not at all let off of the hook from making good decisions. Grab an apple, make a salad, a turkey roll up. Don't reach for chips, Cookies, etc. That is not going to get rid of your hunger. It is just going to make you feel bad.
I say this with the understanding that nobody is going to be perfect. The other poster's example of making and sampling cookies with the kids is life. It is bonding. It is memories. You don't have to stop living just because you have had wls. Just make health a priority. Plan ahead. Get active. This takes work, but I promise you will be successful if you adhere to it for the long-term.
You can do this. Get with your nutritionist about setting a new plan for you if you need it. Don't kill yourself over stumbling, but get back to basics immediately. Success means doing the right things 80-90% of the time. If you have a cookie or a burger or fries every 9 or 10 days, but are on point every day in between, you are going to be golden. Also, try to switch it up a bit. Make good healthy substitutions as much as possible.
Right now, you can't eat much. A few bites of a burger may just be 1-200 calories. Pretty soon, you are going to be able to eat a whole burger. That 6-700 calories is going to hurt. By switching to a turkey burger, removing the mayo and ketchup, and having it open face with no top bun, you can cut the calories, fat and carbs dramatically. Develop good habits now, and put in the foundation that is going to help you in the future.
I wish you the best of luck.

Revision procedures are riskier than virgin sleeve gastrectomies due to the amount of scar tissue and erosion, especially in those who revise from lap band to sleeve.
Since you aren't a revision, your chance of developing complications is less than 1 percent. However, remaining obese is a greater risk to your life than getting sleeved.
Good luck with your decision. I hope your friend recuperates.
