  4. Thanks so much. I’m very confident in Dr. Svendsen. I just want the day to get here already. My fears are mostly getting sick as I’m phobic of throwing up.

  7. My gastric bypass is a little over 3 weeks away and I’m starting to get freaked out a little. I keep thinking about the foods I love that I’ll never get to enjoy again. I’m worried that food will get stuck and I’ll have to throw up or go to the hospital. I’m scared I’ll never enjoy a meal again. Are these fears logical or things I should be worrying about? Thanks all. Megan
  8. How exciting!! Congratulations and good luck to you!
  9. Thanks for the advice!! Any ideas and tips are very appreciated! I hope when I’m at that stage I’m not weak from so few calories. I worry about keeping my energy up for work, etc.

  18. Someone told me to bring sugar free mints or other hard candy. Wonder if that’s ok.
  19. Get a ton of rest, drink plenty of water, and if it is ok to do at this point before your surgery, get some vitamin c or EmergenC. Hope you feel better soon!!
