  1. Thank you all sooo much for your insight. I feel better already!!
  2. Hi all, I am just starting this process. I see the surgeon and team for first time on 12/19. I have a terrible fear of vomiting- I get panic attacks when I feel like I may get sick. Both people I know that have had gastric bypass have to throw up at least once a week. This is the only thing that scares me about surgery- I’m leaning towards the sleeve. I need to mentally prepare for this if I’m going to have to deal with the “v” on a regular basis. Any thoughts or advice? thanks!! Megan
  3. Thanks so much!! How long ago was your surgery? How are you doing? thanks, Meg
  4. Hi Brittany! I am in MN too and trying to decide as well. I am having the surgery at either Abbott Northwestern or United Hospital. I am leaning towards the sleeve because I have MS and I think with the Sleeve you can still absorb some vitamins and minerals. I sure wish I'd done this when I was your age! Let me know what you decide! Have a good weekend! Megan
  5. Hi all, I am in the Twin Cities and have my first appointment at Abbott Northwestern Hospital with Dr. Bradley Linden. Anyone else have there surgery at ANW? Any recommendations? Thanks! Meg
