@RomAncaI don't have any hunger. I eat at a normal breakfast/lunch/dinner time knowing that I need that fuel and Protein to keep my body going. I haven't experienced a real hunger since surgery. It's a very strange feeling, but I'll take it! I am down 66lbs from my heaviest way (actually 68 lbs now), and 31 lbs since my initial surgeon consult, 18 lbs since surgery.

You know this is awesome. @Berry78 Can I tell you I love you? You draw MARVELOUS pictures that really make the math concrete! I think we should all "draw" up a series of these glimpses into daily Protein post op so each of us know how to get to the finish line each day! This looks so completely do-able!
Plus the Fairlife milk you drink is super high in protein for milk and much lower in natural sugars. So maybe that's a work around for the OP too?!!

I had Decaf on day 2; and moved to one cup caffeinated at 1 week (which also resolved my constipation). I love my coffee in the morning. I start thinking about it the night before!

    Allow me to quote myself:
I am a heavy coffee drinker. Coffee, not latte, mochaccino, espresso or any foofy coffee beverage. I like those once in a blue moon, but not as my every day vice. I remember my first cup of coffee post op at about week 2. It was maybe 2 Fluid ounces. Pure bliss though. Now I am back at about a pot or two a day.

I'm supposed to start purée next week too. I have a doctors appt on Fri and I'm hoping he'll let me start then. My stomach has been good. He told me previously not to eat baby food because it is mostly carbs. He was talking about purring egg/chicken/tuna salad.

Been a week for me also. Feeling great but trapped at home; can't drive until follow up on Fri. You're doing great! I'm only down 8 pounds this week. Finally had a bowel movement today. I was starting to think I never would. I'm tolerating full liquids well. Some cramping here and there.

It sounds like we're both going through the same thing. I feel like I would be feeling great if not for the cramping.

I would kill for a piece of chicken! My insurance required the 6 months of vs with the dietician. Good luck with the diet! I'm on day 10 and can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

My doctors pre-op diet is 3 Protein Shakes, 1 Protein Bar and 1 Protein Soup per day. This is under the Robard products, it equals 800 calories a day. It is for 2 weeks prior with no bars 2 days prior to surgery. You can also have broth, sugar free Jello and sugar free popsicles to get in extra Fluid. I'm on day 9. It was very hard the first week... like soooo hard. The Soups are terrible; so haven't been eating them since day2. This week has been better. I haven't weighed yet to see how much I've lost but know I have. I'm planning to weigh myself the day before surgery. I am scheduled for 10/16; can't wait!
