  1. I finally broke down and used one yesterday and was able to get so much more fluid in. It didn't bother my stomach at all.

  3. Hi everybody! Just wondering if anyone is using straws after surgery. I'm having a hard time getting all my liquids in. I know I could always drink more with a straw. I know it's supposed to be a no-no!
  4. I had surgery 10/16 also, in the third week stall myself. It's crazy how wright was falling off; now just stuck!

  7. I am 2 weeks tomorrow also. My diet was advanced to puréed on Friday at my surgical appt. I have to say I'm feeling pretty great myself. I'm down 25 from pre-op diet and 55 pounds down from highest weight. Congrats to you guys also!

  10. I had decaf on day 2; and moved to one cup caffeinated at 1 week (which also resolved my constipation). I love my coffee in the morning. I start thinking about it the night before!

  13. I'm supposed to start purée next week too. I have a doctors appt on Fri and I'm hoping he'll let me start then. My stomach has been good. He told me previously not to eat baby food because it is mostly carbs. He was talking about purring egg/chicken/tuna salad.
  14. Been a week for me also. Feeling great but trapped at home; can't drive until follow up on Fri. You're doing great! I'm only down 8 pounds this week. Finally had a bowel movement today. I was starting to think I never would. I'm tolerating full liquids well. Some cramping here and there.
  15. I had both bone broth and clear protein drinks prior to surgery too. The bone broth is much more satisfying!
  16. I am moving on to full liquids today. Yay! I was allowed protein shakes this last week with my clear liquids.
  17. Ok, everyone. How is everyone doing? What are you eating/drinking?
  18. I know everyone says it's normal. I am so glad we have this website. No stool here yet either. I think I may have gotten a little more in today but I know it's not nearly enough. Wish there was a way to skip time to at least 3 weeks from now!
  19. I know the struggle is real to get these fluids in.
  20. Ok, October 16 sleevers; have any of you had a bowel movement yet? And is anyone drinking coffee?

  22. It sounds like we're both going through the same thing. I feel like I would be feeling great if not for the cramping.
