My op is not for 2 months, but I want to start setting up a practical joke on everyone I know.
If you have any ideas, please post them.
My main Target is my ultrafitness-centered brother who measures his bmi and fat content to at least 0.1%, and my fitness oriented brother and my personal trainer sister in law.
Only people that know about my surgery are my parents. And they will be in on the joke.
My mother will call my brothers with great concern about my weight loss and obsession with medicine balls. She will be concern that I have been unhealthy, possibly bolemia, and suffering from OCD and my medicine ball use is worse than the local teenagers and their skateboard ramps.
They'll come and visit me, and I'll always have a medicine ball, and just play it up. They also see me with a medicine ball when I visit them for Christmas. Anything to perplex them over weight loss. Brother is a graphic design artist, and I might ask him to design a book cover for a self published book "Medicine Ball Miracle". And just see how far I can go with them and everyone else.

I am just beginning my journey through the weight loss surgery world. My beginning size is 28/30, and 3x/4x.... If anyone has smaller clothes that they would like to get off their hands, I would love to accept them. I do live in Thomaston GA. I am on very very low income and I could maybe give a small donation for items but not very much.... My favorite saying is "Pay It Forward!'.... And I will do the same with my clothes as I lose weight and they become to Big. TIA

I don't know if weight can push the need for a knee replacement surgery. I witnessed my mother go through two replacements. It is the last thing you want.

    Ha.

I can't go overboard that that I am crazy. I have to maintain a plausable reality. I don't think they could believe me if I try to tell them it's enemas, that might trigger very serious inquiry. As funny as that might be, it might be too much over the top.

I might include some stupid "as seen on TV" gear, and a stress ball.

The cinnamon pill gave me an idea. I'll need to also need to include those Neugenic pills sold on radio, TV or some herb bought at their favorite store Trader Joe's

An enemas might be too much. My idea for a medicine ball, would be that it would be goofy for me, and I can buy books about it, and leave them around apt (after scuffing them up, buying used copies). I can also lay around balls, scuff them up, and even flatten one somehow.

I will use the idea of Yoga. I could have my mom ask my sis in law if she ever heard of anyone using an enema for weight loss. I could buy whatever cheap enema gear there is and have my mom say I left it after walking her dogs, but not sure what it is.

I am in a program, where they only want you to eat Normal foods. They start you right off relearning to eat, for the rest of your life. I would get a second opinion about their program from a third party Dr and dietician.

I was at a range recently, and getting closer to the surgery time period, it dawned on to me that my muscle memory might change. I am not s professional, just a hobbyist, but I do want I can to develop muscle memory so if I ever need to rely on it under pressure, it's in my corner.
Can post-op make subtle changes to posture, stance, grip, reflexes? I go to the range to get better, and correct squeezing to hard at the trigger break. And it dawned on me, with a total body composure change over a year and more that it could change how I shoot. Not so worried about a holster draw, but with a much smaller waist, I know I will have to relearn it.
If it will have an impact, then perhaps I will need to budget a red dot for my firearm.

    Video Games (multiplayer)
Xbox, PlayStation. Not stupid cell phone games.

There are great time consumers. If I play a basic first person shooter, it's 20-30 minutes per match usually. Can't eat, and both hands are on a controller. More entertaining than TV, and no pause button or opportunity to get Snacks. The games inventivise you to keep playing for "experience points" to get things to play better with in-game.

I am stoked! I have in my hands the new South Park game Fractured But Whole game.

Consider photography. Join a local Meetup photography group. It's something you can do on your own, and use software for post processing. And local Meetups usually have planned outdoor activities like photo walks. Forces you to think outside the box. I've done a forklift graveyard, and an abandoned school for example.
