Android app broken again on 4/14. At least three people posted in reviews, on the same day, and they don't come up as using the same device I do. Worked day before, worked that day, then about non - "app keeps restarting" and the app needs to be closed.

Some programs just concentrate on getting the right amount of Protein. I'd check what your program wants.

I am breaking down and buying a 3qt Instant Pot. This is a big thing for me. In the last year, I bought an expensive 7 inch frying pan and a little spatula for it. Also bought a knife. So this is a big step
What is your favorite source for Instant Pot type recipes for post -op surgery?

You can rest assured that any product that would hire Gilbert Gottfried as a commercial spokesman is going to be of the highest quality. (Actually, on his podcast this week, Gottfried and his co-host admitted that neither had actually tried it yet.)

I bought chewable Fiber "gummies". I can't stand drinking fiber mix drinks. They work. You may also want something to relieve gas post operation, they are going to pump you up with co2 like a balloon.

It might have already been suggested before, but get slippers or slipper shoes with support. You will be required to walk every 4 hours post operation (including hospital stay). Walking on hard floors in hospital socks is not comfortable. Also get plenty of sleep,. Waking you up and unbuckling you from bed, (o2 sensor and those ankle recirculation cuffs) and getting you back in every 4 hours really disturbs sleep. The walking is to help push the co2 out.
We were required to clean our entire body in shower night before and day of with "hibaclense" to help prevent infections. It's a precaution my hospital does for all surgical patients.

I read a post where someone wrote there was a medical and scientific reason for this stall.
Can someone link it? It would be nice if I had a reasonable explanation for the pool of blood that will form on my floor after I am done bashing my head into the wall today.

It has been a very long month for me! I have only seen a 1 lb loss in the last month.. my hair is falling out and I am taking in between 80-100+grams of Protein each day.. my caloric intake is around 800 and I am exercising 5-6 days a week, plus exceeding my 64oz of Water intake daily.. something has got to give soon... my reflux is finally starting to get under control, but that is the only positive thing!!! What am I doing wrong??! Called my surgeon and they told me I am right on track... frustrated.. I measured myself today and I have only lost 22inches total since my surgery 4.5 months ago.. anyone have any advice or go thru the same thing as I am experiencing right now?

After surgery you won't be hungry much. As soon as you eat something, you'll be full. I broke down one day, and have a pack of Lance crackers, that was it, had to skip my meal.

@@Who'sThere - I'm with you. The spirit WAS willing, but the flesh was weak. Thank goodness my mom was with me in Mexico as support (just to keep my friends and family quiet). If not, I might have created an embarrassing international incident with one of the cute nurses, dang I was unnaturally randy post op and for several months following.

I can eat it... now that I've learned how to do it carefully. The first time I had it, the fattiness of it was overwhelming and I got nauseous and threw up. The next time, I shredded it more and ate a smaller portion, pairing it with some fresh sliced tomatoes and cucumbers to help it hit my stomach more mildly. That worked great and I've had it the same way several times since then.

I'll probably go insane when I stall. I chart my weight, daily, and do trendline regressions on it, linear, and polynomial. I think I even found statistical deviations whenever I used metamicil for the Water it retains in the intestines. I am an OCD engineer.

wjgo got a reaction from ProudGrammy in 25yrs old. Down 20lbs pre-op with 7/23/18 surgery date. Looking for advice/thoughts
You seem to be on track.
When they say you done need to loose weight before the surgery, that are talking from an insurance point of view. So excited insurances require a weight loss, or used to. It's best to do your diet, create a habit, and even teadjust your metabolism, the more weight you loose now, should mean a faster path to your personal target weight.
I didn't have to loose weight either before surgery. But I did and that made me 40 lbs closer to my target. Forming habits pre-op can only help. My program is centered around not just surgery, but education, and forming good habits. Some of the education is "duh" but I take it more seriously.

I switched from the chocolate flavor to the banana flavor. In my program they teach us that eatling all day, any amount is not good, and they have some term for it, and that you should be have food into three meals and two Snacks. And the same with the Protein Drinks.< br>
Post op instructions are to stop drinking clear 30 minutes before, and resume 45 minutes after the "meal.". We are told to drink in increments of 2-3 ounces for each meal/snack over 20 minute period until we can tolerate the whole drink. Then sip Water test of day.

One drink a day is going to be bad for you long term. That is why the diet was extended. What I do is start the day with a Premier Protein drink so I get it in early. I am able to drink a whole container in 20 minutes. I then wait 45 and start water.

You need to start just taking bigger swallows until you can tolerate an amount over smaller time period.
