    Update! My doctor submitted the preapproval paperwork on october 5, UHC approved October 7. Surgery scheduled for Nov 9! I found out by calling my insurance directly.

    Hi all, I'm from Texas and am waiting for an answer from my insurance for the pre-approval which was sent by my doctor's office yesterday for the Gastric Sleeve. I'm excited but SO nervous! I have 100 pounds to lose so I'm feeling overwhelmed. Looking forward to getting to know all of you and going through this journey with all of you!
