I am in on the challenge I have an elliptical and dont use it.

I just had my fourth fill .50 I am now at max 9cc in a 10cc band

I drink a cup of coffee every morning and this loosens my band. I cant eat anything until I have a hot drink. I have learned to not gulp cold liquids its very painfull.

Yes- I went to Curves for 30 minutes

I have trouble with Broccoli and boiled eggs.

I am in the same boat as you are. I had surgery in Aug 2 fills already and have some restriction. I feel like I can eat and eat and I worry that I am eating to much. I see the doc on Monday and I am going to ask him how much I should be eating.....One thing I did notice is in the mornings I seem tighter so I drink a protein drink. I still love my band !

That depends on the brand, type (pre made or powder) I buy mine from Wal mart $15.00 52 g protein powder form flavor cookies and cream. I also buy EAS premade drinks 4 for $5.00

The band is a tool and we all have to change our bad eating habits with new ones it did not take us a month to gain these habits and it will take time to break them. I have changed my eating habits no bread, pasta, potatoes or greasy fattening foods. Its a lifestyle change and only you can make that change. I understand where your coming from its frustrating at times and but I now in the long run I will be healthier and feel so much better. If you ever want to talk feel free to PM me anytime. Hang in there it will get better and maybe you need to have a talk with your doctor and tell him the issues your having. My doctor and his staff are very supportive thank goodness. I was off 10 days- I felt good enough to go back after 2-3 days off but decided to stay off 10 and get some Rest!

I am a 43 yr old divorced single mother of three (only one 16 yr old left at home) One daughter is in the Army other one lives in a nearby town. I was banded Aug 28,2008 and love my band. I have a great job and love life to the fullest!

I have 2 fills and my doc gives fills every 6 weeks after my 2nd fill I could see a change in restriction but the weight loss has been slow. I go to the gym 5x week my doc said I am loosing fat instead of weight which is great. I cant eat boiled eggs bad news or beef its to hard to swallow other than that most food is fine

i agree with you its not only insane as we are not trained medical professionals its also dangerous.

costco has a great Protein bar called Premier Protein with 30 G protein they come in 4 or 5 different flavors. I cut them up and snack on it thru the day
