I am two weeks out from being sleeved and boy has this been an adventure! I'm just starting on the pureed stage and am having a difficult time. My tummy doesn't want food in it! The liquid stages were easy but I just don't want any food. Please tell me someone else has been through this and that it got better. I'm ready to be hooked up to a feeding tube forever😔

I packed quite a few items also like Deodorant, house slippers, phone charger, tooth brush and paste, change of clothes and pillow. My hospital supplied everything for me except the slippers, change of clothes and phone charger. I was very impressed that they gave care packages to help during my two day stay. -

Hi Tracey! I'm 40 as well and had gastric sleeve on 9/20/17. I wasn't really nervous but instead extremely anxious. Please believe that everyday gets easier. I feel a little less pain as the days go by. You'll do fine and begin to love the new path you're on even when you feel starved from the liquid diet.
