Sunday morning I woke up around 3am in severe pain in my lower back and lower abdomen (right side only). I walked and walked the floors thinking it would eventually ease up..by 8am I broke down and went to the ER.. diagnosed with kidney stones and the scan shows that I have several more forming..My question is.. has anyone else had any problems with kidney stones after Gastric Sleeve surgery? I had my surgery this morning at 7am..and I have not had any pain ..Yet..my stomach block will last for 10 hours so all of my pain "Might"hit me tonight..My #1 suggestion is to WALK! I have walked ALL over this hospital and I have NO pain or pressure in my chest and shoulders. I prayed for NO pain and that is exactly what I have..NO PAIN..thank God..I will be discharged 1st thing in the morning..YaY! Hello everyone! My sleeve surgery is September 26th and I'm SO EXCITED! I have been over weight my whole life and when I turned 40yrs old in August I was ready for a NEW journey of being healthy. I NEED this change! I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2011 and I have gained ALOT of weight from trying different meds to see what works..now I'm READY! I have a teenage son the looks up to me and I want to be here..and I mean REALLY be here for him..this surgery is 1st for me..my health..and 2nd for my precious son..
