  1. I actually haven’t tried lube yet- and plan on it- but yeah it does make sense to lose some sensation after losing so much fat .. but I did make an apt for some hormone tests to see if anything different is going on. I was extremely easy to please before- and now - nothing at all. So I’m puzzled. Would suck to have lost all sensation forever. Lol! Thanks for your input.
  2. Congrats and good luck on your journey!! Hope yours is easier than mine has been!! Hahah
  3. The thing is, I have a high sex drive... I just have zero sensation.... so that’s the weird part..
  4. I agree. I am often weird about being too personal because I’ve seen really mean posts and comments. Lots comes with WLS.. it’s insane. Thanks hun
  5. Wow! I first off love your blunt and honest opinion.. Yes, My region is absolutely leaner and it was also “fat” before.. however we have tried all positions.. foreplay... etc.. and nothing. But yeah- sex when you’re fat feels a million times better.. probably the hormones and fat differences... hoping I can find an answer to this one day.. cus it really sucks. Thanks again for your thoughts. I didn’t consider that..
  6. I’m 7 months out and use straws more often than I would before.. I don’t notice a difference in air, but you have to be careful with larger sips... although I tend to gulp down too much even without straws.. learning process I guess.
  7. Okay. Good idea. I know my hormones seem more regular now since my periods are better now.. but I’ll have to check that out..
  8. No idea how some woman say they had sex so fast after surgery. I had bypass and no sex for at least 2 months . Everything hurt too much!
  9. Hey there. I’m 35. Start weight 250, current 148. Down 102lbs in 7 months. I also had gastric bypass. It’s been a very rough year as I still can’t eat most of what I was told I should be.. but I’m happiest I’ve ever been!
  10. I’m 7 months post op, and I have more wetness down there- but have lost almost all arousal.. I can’t feel anything during sex... no weird dryness other than that as of now. Early in the stages - yes, I had lots of dryness! Very uncomfortable . I used lotion and drank more water. It will pass.
  11. Thanks for the insight
  12. I’m 8 months post op and I couldn’t agree more with you. You stated that so perfectly! I sadly can’t even digest most animal products or foods yet- but I definitely have cravings all the time!
  13. Hi there. I’m now 8 months post op. I had gastric bypass. I’ve lost 100lbs. Yay! So here’s the thing... I have lost all sexual arousal... I still have a good / decent sex drive, but I’ve lost almost all sensation.. anyone else experience this?? Not sure what’s up. Sorry to be inappropriate, but thought I’d ask...
  14. Yes. Lots of numb areas not just hands... doc said it was lack of B vitamins... I took the B complex and it’s helped a lot - although it takes a week to kick in.
  15. Same here... hair everywhere. My long beautiful thick hair is now very very thin.. I use hair powder in my scalp it’s gotten so bad.. still lucky it appears I have more hair than I do... but it’s gross and very depressing. I do take extra B complex approved from my doctor and it helps nothing.... I’m only 4 months post op. Hoping it grows back sooner than later!
  16. I’m on my 4th month post surgery and I’m vegetarian now. I can’t digest much without getting really sick or throwing up. I can eat: string cheese, soy protein snacks I order online, cucumbers, lactose free cottage cheese with berries, pistachios (100cal) and basic protein shakes. that’s about it!! I order my expensive soy protein items online and they are just fine. Low Carb, calorie. Pasta, pretzels, snacks. I was able to eat ground turkey for a while but can’t anymore and cannot digest anything else. I’ve tried.. I won’t go near heavy carbs though as I’m in the 180’s now and my weight does stall often even with gym all the time...
  17. Holy ****! You look unbelievable... congratulations. So you weren’t scared of getting it done out of the country??
  18. Omg! Who did your tummy??? You look flawless.
  19. I’ll definitely trade some of my thick hair temporarily for the 51lbs I lost. Good point.
  20. Oh okay. Yeah I figured you pee it out. I just figured if my vitamin pack says it had 200% daily value, then it’s enough? I’ll have to check that label for the B vitamin, and then ask my doctor what to do... no sense in taking more vitamins when I’ll pee it out.. the hair loss has always been an issue , even back in my thin days when I took a million vitamins and ate a very very high protein diet. Weight lifted and stuff.
  21. Oh no I’m sorry. I hope your hair loss stops too. Not sure if we’re allowed extra B vitamins? Unlikely ... Well we don’t have a winter in Southern California, but I’m always cold too. That’s definitely from the diet .. I was always burning up before , from high blood sugar. SW 250 CW 198 GW 130 SD 9/25/17
  22. I’m in my third month post op and my hair just started falling out like crazy too I take my vitamins religiously too , bought from bariatric site.. I need to add protein... ugh.
