March 17, 20179 yr Author Thank you! In two weeks I'll be 3 months post op and I'm just thrilled with the results! I'm officially down 75 lbs since the day I started my pre-surgery diet on 12/6. RNY on 12/27. My starting weight on 12/6 was 324 lbs and my current weight is 249 lbs. My dream goal is 174 lbs, or 150 lbs lost.
March 17, 20179 yr I had surgery on Monday! I've been struggling this week but today is a bit better. I look forward to being 3 months out. What's been the hardest part for you?
March 17, 20179 yr Author Congratulations! You're well on your way. It gets much easier as you go. You'll be amazed at how quickly you recover. Just remember to heed your surgeon's directions and take your time. You'll get there. I can honestly say that I have not encountered any major hurdles. After the recovery from surgery, it's all downhill from there, at least until where I am now, which is the honeymoon phase of Bariatric life. The tool of surgery has been nothing but amazing for me. I feel so much better. I have more energy, confidence, fun, life.... more everything. Just less of me. You can do it.
