  1. That’s awesome. You must’ve started at a lower weight? I’m 5’2 140.. goal is 120.. started at 250 / ten months ago. But I’m now on plateau .. needing to push harder to get down.
  2. Yeah it’s makes sense. Not sure if it’s mental for me or what... but I can taste the difference
  3. Voss is regular in our home and when I can find it- I get Diamond water! He likes Evian too. But yeah anything bottled and weird looking from Whole Foods we have. Lol.
  4. Omg you’re the best! I have to say I feel the same with some friends but mostly family!!! Feels SO good to be the “ skinny” one...
  5. I love this convo! I never had pre-op diet. I also now eat Anything I want , so long it’s counted in my calories. 75% of the time being “ clean” foods. Still haven’t drank alcohol simply because I don’t usually enjoy it- but I smoke pot often... I smile clean dabs from a vape. 1 small Hit and I’m toasted. It does cause major munchies in which I try to control. I don’t drink diet soda because I’m terrified of “ stretching “ my pouch ... afraid to eat and drink more new foods that won’t make me sick- because I’ll crave them all the time. I love water but also drink tea and coffee. Cream and stevia. Yay.
  6. Yeah- I agree. I don’t consider myself a true food addict at all though. So I can have all kinds of “ addictive or forbidden” foods at the moment moderately and feel satisfied without it bothering me wanting to go crazy ... but I definitely have had my triggers and worked on controlling it.. I don’t consider myself successful in this journey if I cannot control portions. I still cannot even digest most foods- so I’m still in the clear. But yeah- I do realize That years down the road I may be able to eat much more and have issues if I always eat snack foods. Thanks for the heads up that they may change.
  7. 10 months out and I still struggle with this.. I just try my best to remember...
  8. Holy shit. Looking Great. Congrats doll
  9. I’m so glad you’re okay honey. More glad you have great support.
  10. I had no appetite for several months. Didn’t meet my requirements- but taken plenty of vitamins. Now I’m often hungry 10 months out. Taste buds completely changed. I get full very easily though- can eat 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup at a time. Do the best you can. That’s all you can do. Over stressing won’t help.
  11. SW 250 CW 144 GW 120
  12. I occasionally eat a small side of rice from Taco Bell. It’s a tiny portion and less than 140 cals. I eat with a half side of steak or some protein.. I never even finish the little portion... don’t feel bad as long as your portions are tiny. I get stuffed. My doc only told me to count calories not eliminated foods. 10 months out- down 106lbs...
  13. and forget a bra of any kind... too much pain to deal with anything snug at all. Free the nipples. Baggy clothes. Make sure your surgeon gives you a compression belt for your belly. I took mine off after 3 days though. Felt better after
  14. 10 months out and I cannot live without a form of GAS X!!!!! Target brand is only 2.50$ a box instead of 8-10$ I was in the hospital for 2 nights from not being able to move and so much pain... I sadly didn’t pack much. Lip balm, socks, lotion. Anything else I was in too much pain to notice...
  15. Same with me and my boyfriend.
  16. They sell both 100 cals and 140 cal tiny bags! A lot less carbs and fat..
  17. The Moon cheese or dry cheese items are gross to me. Not to mention I’m still pretty dairy sensitive. So- cheese it’s don’t hurt my tummy- but cheese will give me gas for days. Oh well. We do the best we can. :)
  18. Hell yes to 100 calories worth of cheez- it’s . I was eating them daily and still lost my 110lbs .... I’m not a Nazi with carbs and such. Being like that only harms my mental state... not a way to solve the issue. I have stopped buying them for now. Now I eat that amount in popcorn.
  19. I have to say- I have extra skin everywhere.. not in my neck or anything... but also considering how much I’ve lost- it could be far worse. I’m getting full body plastics done next year. Until then/ luckily it’s “ tuckable” my jeggings and pants hide it mostly. Arms aren’t too crazy. Legs are thinner and shapely- but I have lots of upper thigh skin and lower butt skin...
  20. No idea why people seem to take your post the wrong way.... to answer your question- I lost 15lbs my first week, and 45 my first month ... each month less and less after 6-7months... now at 10month and 105lbs less I’m 5’2 145lbs. On a long plateau and it is what it is... I’ll push harder. You’re doing great and good luck on this wild ride .
  21. Makes sense. When I’m on my period I tend to give zero F%%ks. But I definitely would love to get out of this weight range - so I need to push harder. It’s a battle. Yes I get full super fast- but the more things I can now digest, the more tempting it is to eat foods that aren’t nutritious.. I do have cravings, but notice them gone the longer I can go without those junky foods...
  22. Okay - good to know. I was never told to see a NUT.. since I was losing so fast as is.. I only eat strawberries- but I definitely have been eating sweet treats. I count those calories in my day- but it’s likely why I’m stalling.... eating junk in small quantities can hurt too I guess
  23. Oh darling... I’m so sorry for all you’ve gone through.. sounds like things are great with the wedding and new job! Keep your head up- as you haven’t gained that much.. I wouldn’t personally do carb cutting or anything that you can’t stick to- but find a high fiber balanced plan.. drink lots of water- and if you’re not- get therapy and spend time doing things that make you feel calm and happy. You’re worth it and life is about more than our weight.. YOU got this! You’re in control. When I’m feeling low- I turn to long walks, good music, good movies, fruit, etc... I’m sorry your mom was nasty toward you... I can relate. ( sisters) I wish you the best.
  24. Oh... yeah so she did extremely well. I’m at 10 months already and at this weight.. good for her! Awesome
