  8. be careful, they told me the 0% would still show up on the test. Not sure if they were lying so i would quit, but I would hate for you to have to get rescheduled.

  11. My mother had the sleeve done a year ago. She said her biggest regret was not getting it done in her 30's. I was going to wait, try some more on my own. Add to the yoyo that has been the last 8 years. Instead, with her support I have a tool to assist me for the rest of my life. I am super excited for this transformation and to be a healthy example for my girls. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. I can understand all of that, plus my liquid diet was for one week. If I had to do 5 I would of been pulling my hair out! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. My mother used dr Kim, dfw bariatrics. I went with mybariatricsolutions. I had less hoops to jump through and was very happy with my care. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. This does not follow the guidelines given to me at all! Sure would of been a lot easier! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I wasn't hungry on my liquid diet. I made sure to have a protein shake every 2 to 3 hours. The hardest thing was getting over mentally wanting to eat. But that is something I am going to struggle with even know post op. You can do this! Stay strong! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. You can do It! I am 4 days post op and my lungs still ache. I cannot imagine how bad it would feel if i was still smoking. Plus the thought of a leak scares the crap out of me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. Maybe your new found confidence is creating the sparks! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. I vaped prior to my surgery. They stressed the importance of quitting due to the nicotine causing leaks and preventing healing. It was hard at first but I an thankful that I am starting this new journey smoke free as well! Good luck! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Today is my 35th birthday and I can't think of a better way to spend it! I was sleeved yesterday and am currently recovering. So far so good, got 25 laps in, water going down okay and the nurses are on point with the pain meds. I am so excited to start thus new journey! 21. Also my bmi was 35, after a six month diet I am sure I would be under that. I have been on a yoyo for the last 10 years and am over it. So yes, I didn't want to wait six months and no longer qualify. I am ready for a permanent solution. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Mine said they would test and I got tested on when my EEG was done on Thursday. The big risk is nicotine can cause leaks at your incision and delays the healing process. I was an Ecig user since I quit smoking 8 years ago. The whole "stomach leaking thing" freaked me out. Good luck and stay strong!!
  23. Do they offer a cash price? My cash price was not far off of what the insurance price was.
  24. I had uhc choice it was covered with a bmi over 35 and required a 6 month diet. Cost was 4500 for the sleeve. I opted for self pay for 8500. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  25. Isopure has 40g of protein and tastes pretty good, at times a bit sweet. I also got a flavored water additive from bariatric choice. Only 15g of protein but I think they taste better and are a bit cheaper. They also have little shots, like 5 hour energy, think they were 18g. http://www.bariatricchoice.com/ This one is my favorite. It is a liquid that you pour in water. http://www.bariatricchoice.com/bariatric-choice-protein-fruit-drinks-concentrate-greentea-cranberry.html Hopefully they still offer free shipping for you!
