  1. Thanks for your input megamedic

  3. Thank you DisplacedYankee!! Good to know. I think the general consensus points to don't risk it!!! And I sure as heck am not letting anything stand in my way here, I'll just stop all vaping activities before since it's such an occasional habit anyway. I have >100 to lose and would prefer to start living my life in the healthiest way - and if vaping has to go so be it!
  4. Thanks Oompa Lumpa I hadn't thought of switching to 0; I'm vaping 3 mg nicotine at 17 watts right now and only occasionally so why not go down to 0?! I feel like I'll be giving up so much why give up the vape if you don't have to - if it is the nicotine that's the harmful aspect of it.
  5. Thanks so much all, for the honest and helpful answers!!
  6. Did/does anyone vape pre-sleeve? I vape (nicotine lol) very very occasionally and they've only asked so far about smoking which I don't. I passed my pulmonary tests. My friend says the surgeon may ask about vaping closer to surg (11/27) and I just am curious if it's the nicotine they care about or any pulmonary consequences? Thanks!!
  7. Sosewsue61 thank you that's a great help! I'm less nervous now
  8. Thanks so much AMH1234! That is very helpful and encouraging
  9. Thanks so much mzsantiago88. I just worry since I am prescribed suboxone from a different dr he'll think it's odd. I never abused pain pills - I was prescribed them til, well, I was not. I got sick from the sudden stop and I've been on suboxone ever since. It's fine w surgeon... I just don't know how tough the psych evaluations are :/

  11. Hello! This is my first post. I'm scheduled for 11/27 and have already been cleared for cardiology, this week I also have gastroenterologist and pulmonary! A lot in 1 week but they kind of are pushing me along luckily (I think)! Anyway, I'm a bipolar patient who sees my psychiatrist every 2 weeks - but he 'doesn't do surgical clearances'. I mean not just for me, he just refuses to do them in general. So I am scheduled for a psychologist next week. I am nervous my reason for going to him will seem odd. Of course I'll explain. I'm also a suboxone patient. Worries!!!
