  1. Sleeve was on Monday the 25th. Been off the pain meds for 24 hours now. I'm still so unbelievably dizzy and light headed. I'm walking and trying to get all my fluids/protein in. My hands get jittery and I actually break out in a cold sweat from walking to the mailbox. I'm wondering if I'm not getting enough calories in. Today I got 1 protein shake, 1 packet of cream of wheat instant and 1 Greek yogurt. It has take me all day to eat that! And maybe or maybe not related I started passing old blood clots vaginally. What the heck is up with that? Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Any regrets?

My sleeve was this past Monday. I currently have the "what did I do " thoughts. Watching my family eat regular food while I sip my protein shake down is very difficult. I know this will pass soon Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Need a surgery buddy..Sept 26tg

How are you both feeling? I had my surgery the day before you. I had a 2 day stay in the hospital and 24 hours I couldn't drink anything. The air trapped itself under my ribs cage. Moving or taking a deep breath was awful. But it is slowly going away. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Protein and water

Your steps are different than mine. Our step two is anything that can fit through a solid mesh strainer. It is pretty much creamed soups, baby food and jello for me. I was told meats I would not be able to get down until 4 weeks or so. The 2 pounds is probably just fluid. Our natural weights are constantly adjusting. I would not imagine it is fat. You would have had to consume 7k calories to have gained 2 pounds.
  5. I am on the liquid diet. The first two days were HARD. I had a terrible headache that just would not go away and of course can't take any NSAIDs this week to help fight it. My doc has us on a shake for breakfast, shake for lunch and then a low calorie, low fat, no carb high protein meal for dinner. Pretty much I eat 2 scrambled eggs for dinner. The only good part is the pounds are just dropping off left and right this week. Surgery Monday. I keep telling myself this is all worth it

    right after surgery

I talked to my doctor yesterday. He said he prefers patients take 2 weeks at least but he understands lots of people can't. He told me a week at home for sure and then to try to work just a few hours a day on week 2. By week 3 he said half a day and week 4 back to normal schedule. The hardest part is the time you need to stay hydrated.
  7. Mine is September 25th. I can't believe it is almost here!

    "LAST SUPPER"

My last real meal before my preop diet was last Saturday. I chose Prime Rib and Popcorn. Two of my favorite things. Gosh I am really going to miss popcorn!
  9. My surgery is scheduled for Monday the 25th of September. 6 days and counting!!! I own my own business and I'm tying up loose ends and sending out orders. I had anticipated taking a full week off and possibly a second full week off. But in reading people taking a month Off? What is the average recoop time? Being my own boss has it's perks and I can take more time if needed but I can't imaging taking more than 2 weeks.
  10. I am glad I am not the only one who did not mention it to people. I told a few close friends and my immediate family members. They have tried to convince me that I do not need it but I am getting it done. I have some other family members that when I mentioned thinking about having the surgery they were so hurtful and disparaging that I quit talking about it to them. They have no idea in 13 days I am having the procedure
