  1. Hi all! I spent so much time on this site pre-op, so I want to share a "boring" update! I lost 15 pounds pre-op, surgery on 9/19 to remove a 7-year-old lap band that I'd struggled with for six years and to create a sleeve, stayed overnight in the hospital with no issues, went back to work (desk job) after 8 days. Very tired at the end of the day still, but incisions are healing nicely, have had no bad food experiences, and am down 25 pounds total. I've been out with friends several times and haven't had trouble finding something to eat. Oddly enough, most people aren't really paying much attention to what I'm eating...if I don't draw attention to it! I only told a few people of my surgery. My goal is to lose 80 and it appears I will be a "slow" loser, but that's ok! Thanks to all of you who post on here! I felt like I knew the best and the worst that could happen and was well-prepared! The only negative is that I bought WAY too much soup, bone broth, shakes...I wanted to be prepared for post-op! Hope you all have a fantastic Saturday!

    Cream Soups

I believe "creamed" is blended, not the addition of cream/milk. At least that's what it means to me, 7 days post-op and hoping to move to puréed foods later this week!!
  3. Hello! I'm scheduled to be sleeved 19-Sep and am cleaning out and preparing my kitchen for post-op. What are your favorite single-serve blenders, regular size blender, food scale, food processor? What other items have been helpful in getting you through the first few months of post-op?
  4. I'm scheduled for September 19 and am interested!
