  1. I am post op day 9 can you have iced decaf coffee? Seems like u may be able to but I wasnt sure. Perhaps with some 1% milk and splenda or even black with splenda. Probably just have to drink a little more water. Anyone?
  2. I know everyones doctor nutritionist is different but I feel like im healing well handling everything that goes down well when exactly do you start introducing other things besides shakes? For instance Farina? Not to replace shakes but during the day. My guess is after week 2 but of course u read online everyones different.
  3. So far so good temperatures dont bother me thank god
  4. Temperature doesnt bother me much but I may be a glutton for punishment
  5. Maybe its just me but adding ice to one of the shakes definitely makes it easier to handle! It feels like a treat almost. I make all 3 shakes for the day in morning and by time I get to third one its sludgy lol so i add splash of milk and ice and it is pretty tasty just felt like sharing .

  8. I actually feel like I could have had more protein for now they want me to get 60g of protein but shakes are tough sometimes
  9. Im definitely hunching over post op day 2 but honestly i have 8 holes instead of the 5 they mentioned I would so not exactly comfortable
  10. Out of hospital first day home so many pills wasnt that hard to swallow but I dont have my vitamins because of the storm in texas they were supposed to be delivered yesterday. Hopefully one day wont hurt me. Shakes werent that easy honestly

Not sure if anyone is having trouble getting vitamins down but Barimelts website has a bundle package which has everything you basically need for post Gastric Sleeve for $104 after rebate.....however Jet.Com has same bundle for 3 months for $48!!!   13. I know u need the iron and biotin is important ill take a look maybe ill try the capsules if they dont go down ill get something else
  14. My wife is doing the same thing problem isnt losing the weight its taking it off for good you know. I lost like 35 lbs and now of course its like oh just keep going. If anything your just better prepared for the months to come stick with it good luck! My surgery is 8/25.
  15. I probably used the wrong term but if you do the same diet you did the first week out of sugery shakes only your stomach tends to shrink back
  16. Same diet they made u do first week a few friends of mine do it when they start to pleateau
  17. Yea u tend to lose slower sometimes a protein shake cleanse helps get u going again
  18. 1 week to go and I feel like i have so much to do lol whats everyones take on vitamins (for sleeve) I was thinking opurity since it has iron already but its a pill...capsule probably wont be hard to get down but im curious for those who did it already how it worked
