  2. Diane I personally really like Body Fortress whey protein its super cheap and they sell it on amazon if u have it or walmart and it doesnt make u as sick. I dont think Doc is going to allow u to eat protein powder in foods because they want u to get the liquids in
  3. Hey all I got Sleeved 8/25/2017, started my journey exactly a year ago today weighing 357 on 5/31/2017 ...a year later I am 210 and feel amazing however I will say it is very easy to go astray if you dont work at it every day. Best thing to do is if you slip just get right back going good luck to all of you. It aint easy.
  4. That is great! Keep it up!!!
  5. Also been stalling last month or so. Started diet pre surgery was 355...did surgery at 295...today I weigh 235 but i havent lost anything in over a month (im short) so I def can lose some more. Sleeved 8/25/17. Still happy losing 120 lbs but need to change something up. Also I am cold all the time as well!
  6. Surgery date: 8/29 Starting Weight: 337 Surgery Weight: 292 Current Weight: 254 Goal Weight: 185 Started Diet in April lost about 45 lbs pre surgery the rest was after. Hit a little stall here but im trying to work out of it. Good job to everyone!
  7. Anyone else barely ever go to Bathroom? Beginning I did but now its like not very often at all. Obviously not talking about #1
  8. For those worried about not losing weight i stalled at week 3....week 4 i lost 6 lbs so be patient everyone
  9. Definitely tiring and i am with u with food feeling stuck i slacked last few days with protein so im gonna make sure I get a 30g shake in there somewhere
  10. I also think starting weight plays a huge part and how well you did before you had surgery. If you lost a good amount prior it may come off slower
  11. Do any of you track your calorie intake? Just curious what everyone is eating a day. Im on day 24 and im on 2 meals and one shake now. CAlories are around 500 to 600. What are yours?
  12. Im with u at 3 weeks getting a little gutsy with some of the foods but losing a little at a time i think thats perfectly healthy i mean its still early as well.
  13. Yes all food is pureed or already soft like Yogurt for bfast with protein powder, egg whites for lunch and then dinner a shake usually which is fine and like u i am not hungry. Just trying to defer from shakes lol
  14. Did the shakes for 12 days started food having no issues with 2 meals and 1 shake is it too early to transition to 3 meals if u can handle it? They say at ur pace
  15. Try canned Chicken Breast, splash of Buffalo Sauce, splash of Ranch dressing blend together and baked with sprinkle of cheese in oven. 350 degrees for 10 mins. Its very mushy easy to eat and if u finish a can with a little cheese its 20g of protein. Better than a shake. I had no issue with that at day 17
  16. She is the worst with answering emails lol Thats why I figured I would see what everyone elses said. I think its more cause they want u on low carb diet
  17. Has anyones doctors ok'd them to add a banana to the protein shake? I know some say u can have mashed bananas during pureed stage but I read its best to avoid fruit for a month. My NUT never said that
  18. I feel like I did have a little weakness in beginning but its getting better
  19. Its just that u dont know the feeling of being full so quickly thats what it is
  20. Remember ur not moving that much and ur healing plus they load you up with air/gas. You wont drop much in first 2 weeks so dont be alarmed i only dropped a few myself and todays 2 weeks as well. As long as you are feeling good. Then u can start adding the gym and im sure it will come off.
  21. Had first meal today was def nice to change up from shakes but Warning everyone else listen to them when they tell you to chew your food good! Lol i chewed a lot and it still feels lodged in my stomach im sure ill get used to it but was nice experience
  22. Was it low sodium? First 2 weeks my NUT said lower sodium soup is ok didnt think of something blended
  23. Also I feel pretty good as well similar black and blues but walking is no issue and pains gone for most part
  24. I had mine same day progressing nicely. I lost almost 30 prior to surgery so in doing pretty well. Shakes are annoying me at this point seems like everything you have is sweet. Just dying for a little salt lol
