Hey all I got Sleeved 8/25/2017, started my journey exactly a year ago today weighing 357 on 5/31/2017 ...a year later I am 210 and feel amazing however I will say it is very easy to go astray if you dont work at it every day. Best thing to do is if you slip just get right back going good luck to all of you. It aint easy.

I was sleeved 8/29. I did not lose weight before the surgery. I'm down 26lbs since surgery but I think that is because I did not lose pre-op. I'm eating about 500 calories and 60 grams Protein a day now. I'm trying to eat more but I can only manage a few bites of cottage cheese, everything else makes me feel like it is stuck. I have a shake, broth and popsicles. I found a broth with 9 grams of protein. I'm exhausted though.
Definitely tiring and i am with u with food feeling stuck i slacked last few days with protein so im gonna make sure I get a 30g shake in there somewhere

I also think starting weight plays a huge part and how well you did before you had surgery. If you lost a good amount prior it may come off slower

Do any of you track your calorie intake? Just curious what everyone is eating a day. Im on day 24 and im on 2 meals and one shake now. CAlories are around 500 to 600. What are yours?

Im with u at 3 weeks getting a little gutsy with some of the foods but losing a little at a time i think thats perfectly healthy i mean its still early as well.

Try canned chicken Breast, splash of Buffalo Sauce, splash of Ranch dressing blend together and baked with sprinkle of cheese in oven. 350 degrees for 10 mins. Its very mushy easy to eat and if u finish a can with a little cheese its 20g of Protein. Better than a shake. I had no issue with that at day 17

My NUT said no fruit yet, but if your NUT says it's ok, go for it. If you've got contact information for them, text/email/call and ask! The worst that happens is you hear no.
She is the worst with answering emails lol
Thats why I figured I would see what everyone elses said. I think its more cause they want u on low carb diet

Has anyones doctors ok'd them to add a banana to the Protein Shake? I know some say u can have mashed bananas during pureed stage but I read its best to avoid fruit for a month. My NUT never said that

I feel like I did have a little weakness in beginning but its getting better

I also started eating yesterday not much but if feels wierd!
Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app
Its just that u dont know the feeling of being full so quickly thats what it is

Remember ur not moving that much and ur healing plus they load you up with air/gas. You wont drop much in first 2 weeks so dont be alarmed i only dropped a few myself and todays 2 weeks as well. As long as you are feeling good. Then u can start adding the gym and im sure it will come off.

It wasn't. There is really no mention about low sodium in the instructions I got. I know everyone has there own issues, but since we are having so little at a time, I imagine the sodium is also a smaller portion. Good luck!!
U too!

On my plan I can have Soup or V8. Yesterday I blended a can of Progresso Wedding soup. Wired color but not bad at all. Satisfied the savory craving and totally allowable. I can only get a third down anyway....
Was it low sodium? First 2 weeks my NUT said lower sodium soup is ok didnt think of something blended

Also I feel pretty good as well similar black and blues but walking is no issue and pains gone for most part

I had mine same day progressing nicely. I lost almost 30 prior to surgery so in doing pretty well. shakes are annoying me at this point seems like everything you have is sweet. Just dying for a little salt lol
