    online psych evaluations

I haven’t had a psych evaluation online, but depression is considered one of the hallmarks of being obese. In other words, you’re normal. 😀
  2. Thank you so much. 🌸
  3. I completely agree with the OP, and I am guilty of not knowing how to update my information using my iPad. I do not use the app. Do I need to?

I have to agree. It does sound fishy.

Medical Weight loss req. 1st pre-op

I was simply told to eat high protein, low carbs, etc. to lose weight. Wow! At least you may lose very quickly.

    1st pound down!

    Good for you!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
  8. I wondered about that, too, and almost thought about not losing any weight until I had my first surgeon visit. Lucky for me the surgeon used the weight I submitted on my form, and any weight loss I had was counted towards the weight I needed to lose before surgery.

Are you good at understanding insurance?

It sounds like you certainly qualify! No question about it! Please keep us informed about your insurance. For me, it was so difficult to not know if I was approved or not. ❤️

Are you good at understanding insurance?

I'll preface this by saying that I know nothing about insurance. I don't see anything about BMI, but it does say that the revision would be due to some sort of defect. Unless I'm reading incorrectly, you lost over 100 lbs., and there is no defect. Like I said, I know nothing. 😀 I do hope you get the surgery.
  11. Me, too, and it bugs me seeing it. THE SALES TACTIC IS NOT APPRECIATED! Also, my surgeon told me that they do not use the patch vitamins because too many people's blood work were coming back showing that they don't work.

    Gallbladder, be gone!

I'm sorry you're in so much pain! I had my gallbladder out a few years ago, and it was a breeze. You're going to feel so much better! 🌸
  15. I'm in the process of losing weight before my bypass, but I feel sick as a dog. I have no fever, just feel extraordinarily weak with a headache. Could this be low sugar or protein? I've been on enough diets that you'd think I would know, but I've never felt like this. I'm not diabetic that I know of. Has anyone else felt like this? 😔

I'm not there yet either, but how do you describe "sick?" Nausea or exactly what? I'm truly interested, and I hope you get relief and some answers soon. 🌷

Mainly simply waiting, but I did begin to eat even less. I stopped having yogurt and a banana everyday. 😀

    Saying Hi!

I have had GERD for years, and have been on Nexium forever. My surgeon recommended the bypass. My gastroenterologist is ecstatic because drugs like Nexium etc. have recently been proven to be bad for you in other ways. Do a google search about them.

    Help.

I am so sorry! I am pre op, and thought you were, too. Lol. I will have my bypass in December. Merry Christmas to me! 🎄 I am so happy for you that you can eat red meat and potatoes. My favs!! 😀
  23. Yesterday I had my first peanut powder smoothie with some yogurt and a banana. This morning I have had the worse stomach ache of my life, and it's accompanied by fainting spells and vomiting. The pain is so great that I come extremely close to completely passing out and falling onto the floor. Sorry about this next sentence: I have diarrhea, but I about kill over while I am sitting on the toilet. And, I'm throwing up while I'm sitting there, all at the same time! Has anyone experienced this from using the peanut powder, or have any idea what's going on with the fainting? I do not feel like it's the flu in any way. i hesitate in calling my doc because I don't want to cause any waves in my getting the surgery. Thank you so much for your replies.
