  1. Awesome job!! Can I ask what your weight loss looked like as far as how much you lost when? I'm 6 weeks out and down about 30 pounds. I feel like I'm slower on losing them most. Suggestions?
  2. I just created an account and would love to have some friends for the support. It would also be nice to see what other people are eating. Add me or give me your user name: samskiles2015
  3. Any other single moms in the Dallas area? I'm 32, 6 weeks post-op and have a 9 and 4 year old. Would love to meet some other mamas!
  4. You're such an inspiration and I'm so proud of your dedication!! I wish I could give you a hug!! I'm only six weeks out and started at 330. I'm just under 300 now and eve though it's hard I'm not giving up! Thank you for sharing your story! I needed to hear this tonight! ❤️
  5. I'm 5"9 and I'm down 35 pounds. I'm six weeks out. This before pic was right before the pre-op diet and the after pic was taken last night. I still have a ways to go.
  6. I try and prep meals the night before but sometimes I'm too tired. Those are the days I typically eat more calories so it really makes a difference.
  7. I also wanted to add that some days are harder then others. Some days I want to eat everything and I do consume up to 1200 calories but it's protein rich foods. My dr has been on board with everything I am doing so I think it's ok if some days you eat more!
  8. I'm in the same boat and I'm also 6 weeks out. I started eating slower and waiting a minute in between bites and this helped me get fuller faster. I also pre-measure my meals and only allow myself to eat about 4 oz at a time. This is a typical day for me: B: 3 turkey sausage links or protein shake S: string cheese L: 4 oz of lunch meat and cheese or 4 oz of chicken with a veggie S: Cottage cheese or protein shake D: 4 oz of chicken or fish and veggie I also drink 60-80 oz of water in between.
  9. Scale hasn't moved all week so I decided to take a picture in a new dress that came in the mail today to compare to a before pic. The before picture was taken the night before surgery 6 weeks ago! My non scale victory!!
  10. You are beautiful and look great (skin and all)! So motivating for me as we started out close to the same weight. I'm only 6 weeks out though!! ❤️
  11. I'm only 6 weeks out but wanted to share my progress so far. ????
  12. Dr. Fox did my band. I just had my band removed and sleeve surgery Aug 11 thru the Nicholson clinic. If I could go back I wouldn't have went thru Fox. He didn't seem to care about my struggles or weight loss. I love the Nicholson clinic. Check them out. I now have Dr. Carlton. He is amazing and his staff care!!
  13. It feels so good! I still have a long way to go but this is great motivation!! Thank you!
  14. I haven't had much success this week with the scale so I decided to take some pics and compare to before surgery!! I can see a difference and it feels so good!!!! Just wanted to share in case anybody else is having scale issues. Try taking pics!!
  15. I started at 330 and the day of surgery I weighed 317. I'm a little over one month out and weigh 298. I'm losing slower than I thought I would but I'm losing.
  16. I'm following my doctors orders I just don't ever feel like I'm getting full. I will be hungry 30 minutes after I eat!
  17. It is hard to see everyone else more successful.
  18. Everybody's dr is different. My doctor wants me to staff away from PB because it's a trigger food for me. However it was on the meal plan.
