  1. Can anything happen when your on your post op diet after the sleeve surgery and you eat cream soup ย ? Can it stretch out your sleeve ? Besides it beingsย uncomfortable I'm a little concerned.ย

      Soups and other liquids are not capable of stretching out your sleeve, ever. The only way you can stretch a sleeve is by overeating solid foods on a repeatedly ongoing basis.

      You can't stretch your stomach post-op - there's a lot of information on the internet, YouTube, and this site that supports that idea. You can learn to eat around your smaller stomach. Right now you are on liquids, so they go down easier and faster than solid food does. If you have too much, you'll feel uncomfortable. If you don't want to get to that stage, measure out your food and eat only that, even if you think you can eat more. You have to retrain yourself to be satisfied with much less.

      Just do what they tell you to do. It's MUCH EASIER that way. Do not overthink. Just follow their guidelines.

    I'm getting my sleeve done August 4 2017 my IBM is 37 .jist my husband who is my supporter knows and my father. My 4 kids do not know. I have struggle with my weight and have high blood pressure,diabetes and high cholesterol.. it's all for health reasons to I want live to see my 7 grandkids grow up. Good luck with your surgery stay positive.

    Any August 2017 Sleevers?

    I'm getting mine August 4 , excited but very nervous, been fasting since July 21 . Hardiest thing ever but all worth it in the end. Nervous,happy and scared.

    My surgery date is August 4 2017 I started fasting July 21 before my sleeve surgery. I am excited but nervous, being on liquids isn't so bad, The first couple of days was hard because i have to cook for my family .now i am not really tempted to want what i cook,I actually feel good this having high blood pressure ,type 2 diabetic.good luck to those who are going to have it soon it all going to be worth it , have a blessed positive day !
