  2. So I was cleared to drink anything pourable, and decided to have some Broccoli & Cheddar soup, with no chunks. This was a big mistake. First I did eat a little more that I should (but not that much), but about 20 mins afterwards I was regretting it. Hoped I could walk it off, so walked for about 45 min. No relief. Figured I would try a nap, 1 1/2 hours later no better. This all started about 4pm yesterday. I had a horrible night, I would wake up about every 2 hours be bloated and nauseous. I didn't start to feel better until 2-3 this morning. Trying to figure we're I went wrong? Wrong type of food (bad choice)? Wrong Time, e.g. Too early from surgery?

    Day 0

    Well today I got my lapband, and thought it would be good to have some support, advice, and learn from the knowledge of those that precede me. The pre-surgery diet wasn't bad and I lost 13 lbs. Concerned about getting my proteins in, especially the first few days. Also, would love any advice for a beginner?
