  3. Alright ya'll, so 6 days post op I sat up wrong and had horrible pain where my biggest incision it located. Well a few hours later that spot was very swollen. I did go in to the Dr. and they are confident it's not a hernia however it's a hematoma. Can anyone tell me about how long this will take for the body re absorb? they explained to me how it works but no time table. Thanks!

What did you take to the hospital?

I took 3 pajama bottoms and used everyone because (no one told me) diareah would possibly be an issue) flushable wipes, chap stick, slippers, my own blanket and pillow. Lap top & charger. Comb face wipes. I was going to be an over packer until I watched you tube videos that suggested to pack light because a lot doesn't get used and really it wouldn't. Best of luck to you Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app

  6. I am post po 6 days. Had a 4 day hospital stay with a little blood pressure complication. I had a Nissen Fundo take down, hernia repair and sleeve. So that's my history. So WTH? I stepped on scale and was up 13 pounds I've started loading approx 2 pds a day but I'm not even where I was the day I had surgery! Why? I'm now on post op liquid diet consisting of protein shakes, water limited juice. Thank you in advance for your opinions and/or suggestions Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. Had sleeve done on Mon the 11th.. so post op by 2 or 3 days. I'm still in the hospital and working on sipping water. However each time I swallow it burns my chest for just a few seconds, is this normal? Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. My Surgery is 6am Monday morning I'm thrilled beyond belief was easily approved after meeting all requirements was met. I've worked very hard to get to this point. However as of last night I woke up at 2am in a panic Mindset with what in the heck am I doing? All the negatives just keep circling in my mind. I got up and pushed back those thoughts but my question is. .. outs this normal, just nerves getting the best of me? I'm not afraid of the surgery so not sure what's going on because I've been at this for over a year and, for the most part posiTive and exciting why now? 14. I'm so sorry! My heart just sank for you as I read this. My dates have been pushed back twice but I didn't get nearly as far as you have. How very disheartening. Please keep your head up. Stay positive! Although it doesn't help the keep an open Mind that Dr's have very real lives like you and I. Emergencies do arise and sometimes at very unfortunate Times such as this.
