Day 3 of pre op diet... I am Hungry!!! but pushing through it 

Day 3 of pre op diet... I am Hungry!!! but pushing through it 

4 weeks away!!!! I am suddenly nervous... Mostly about the pre op diet. The idea of 4 shakes and sugar free liquid for days and days is scary. the first part of mine is basically what I am doing now but week 2... 

Tomorrow I have my Preop appt with the surgeon... Hopefully by noonish tomorrow I'll finally have a date. I am so ready

I must be losing my mind... I got approved for surgery, but found out my surgeon is on vacation for the next couple weeks so I cannot see him until Dec 6th. That is when I will schedule surgery. I asked if she knew aprox when the surgery will be, and she told me he may not be able to operate until after the first of the year depending on his schedule... this has me so bummed that I am not even celebrating that I got approved... WTC is wrong with me??

Pre-ops DONE!  DONE!  DONE!   Appointment with surgeon in a week -- he all but said he'd submit me for insurance approval at this point, even without 6 months of classes under my belt.  If I ruled the world (haha), I'd have surgery on 12/18 and take two weeks of leave over the holidays -- with nobody in the office the wiser.  We shall see. :-)

I am now working as a server at Cracker Barrel, sometimes able to do 2 back to back 15 hour days which is a long way from where I was 1 year ago. But I am now down 197lbs @ 16 months post op

WOOHOO Finally got psych clearance!!! Next week i dot my first NUT class and my support group... the first week of Nov I do my UGI, second NUT and final weight in at PCP then file insurance and wait... The good news about the wait is my patient advocate says my insurance is usually pretty quick about getting the approval back. 

I had the worst experience this weekend... Friday my brother and mother talked me into riding a ride at the fair that i did not want to ride... i got up in the chair and they could not latch the harness... bc I am too fat. I knew it b4 i got up there but it is so much worse when u have proof... I cannot wait for the day when stuff like that no longer happens... silver lining is that i have new motivation to stick to it.,

Month 4 of 6 weigh in today, down 4 lbs from last month only 2 left until I get submitted for insurance... Psych appt tomorrow at least now i feel like things are moving. getting excited and a bit nervous, I suppose that's normal.  

Got my surgery date!!! October 27th, Friday before Halloween. Maybe I should arrive at the hospital in costume? hahaha I laugh now, but I wouldn't put it past myself

Looking for advice and knowledge on the steps to get wls. 

The waiting is the hardest part... i am having a bit of luck losing during this 6 month medically supervised weight loss, and that's great but... i just want all this to be over, to have my surgery done and my post op life started... i feel like i am stuck in limbo waiting... anyone else??...
