    WebCam Support Group

Hello Everyone, My name is Carolina Lopez, 25 year old from Brooklyn, NY. I got my Gastric Bypass on 06/23/2017 at HW: 249lbs. I am currently 115lbs and working on maintenance. I know how difficult everything surrounding this life change is and I want to help others going in or through the process. I am looking to creating a webcam support group in which we will discuss/overcome our struggles and praise our improvements. Let's create a judgement free support system! Anyone who will like to be part of this idea please reach out. I am hoping for diverse group of different stages of this journey. Please comment below and include your email address if interested in joining me. Thank you, Carolina Lopez “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit.” —Aristotle

    Food Control Me

Hello everyone! My name is Carolina, 25 year old from Brooklyn, NY. I had my gastric by pass on June 23 2017 and loss a total of 129 pounds (HW: 249”bs CW 120lbs). After reaching my goal weight of 120lbs and switching to maintance calories, about a month and half ago, something happen to me— mentally. I can’t stop obsessing over food. Food is the first thing I think about as soon as I wake up, the last thing I think about before falling to sleep, and ALL I think about in between. I am constantly eating without planning and without being hungry. Often, I just eat because the food is available. I lose control of my fitness/health goals and lose sight of my decisison to be more mindful with eating. althought I am fully aware of what am doing during the time I am eating, the strength to stop myself is not there anymore. Knowing that I loss my initial decipline is scary. However, there are more scary thoughts that hunt me. I am scare.. scare of regaining all the weight back, scare of not getting control of this mindless eating stage, and above it all.. scare of losing the person I now see in the mirror. The person I always wanted to be. Can anyone else relate? Help me....
