It's a lot easier than you think, trust! I would do the trusty Premier Protein for Breakfast and Lunch (with water (flavored/unflavored in between both meals and after), then for dinner, I didn't have to worry about cooking too much, b/c I made broth. I have this amazing Asian Thai-Flavored Chicken broth that is absolutely delicious if you want the recipe! After my broth, I had a SF popsicle and a SF Jello, and I was full and good to go.
Don't listen to the negative people that talk about it being "miserable", it's not. It's only miserable if you think it is. It's actually pretty freeing. Like, you know you're going to stick to it, so the free food at work or the fast food places on the way home don't bother you. You'll start looking forward to the broth lol. Not to mention, you will see weight come off and feel so much better. Also, this will prepare you for your Post-Op eating (which for a while, will be just liquids) and that will be a breeze.
You got this, don't worry about the holidays or whatever, just focus on the goal.
BTW, I stuck to mine and lost 33lbs in 2 weeks.

That is so true. The difficult thing is that I'm the cook. But you know what, my relationship with food has changed. i am over the hype of it all. I started this for me, and I planned on finishing strong. Thanks for the encouragement!

I am getting ready to go back to the pool. I love to swim about 2km breaststroke (80 laps of 25metres) and wade chest-deep for another 25 to 40 laps before I come home.

Make furniture. Work in the yard. Being ale to bend over. Sleeping 12 hours without my back hurting. Buying cloths and having the selection (big and tall was depressing and expensive). Hiking up mountains. Flying an airplane.

I would love to go horseback riding again!!!! My love for horses has never changed. I was 12YO when I got my Mare Taffy. I rode every day. One way or the other I got up every morning went to the pasture and away we went. We got home just before dark!!! I had her from 12 years old until I had my 2nd child. I was 23YO and at first, I took my 5YO son with me but....I didn't know how to take 2 with me. So I ended up getting rid of her. She was the joy of my life until I had my babies. I still miss her so much, she was there for me so much more than anyone else could or would be. I hope my visions of her last days were resting and grazing on her sweet hay!!! Taffy, I love and miss you so much!!!
