HHi I'm new my name is Pam I'm trying to find friends and support on here I don't no anyone,I'm trying to lose 17 pounds before my surgery and its due to insurance,I'm having a hard time just asking others for info and stuff,and congrats to you hun hope all is well.

@Pamela wallace when is your surgery date? I had my surgery 5 days ago. I also worried about the weight I had to lose before surgery. I just followed the diet they gave me to the tee. I exercised 2=3 times a week and I lost 26 lbs preop.

Surgery is done, now time to start losing. How long does it take to start feeling normal. Still in a lot of pain, but I'm glad the surgery is done.

@ShelbyMoore I'm at home now. I'm trying to get proteins and water in as much as possible. The weird thing is, I can't tell what full is.

That is so true. The difficult thing is that I'm the cook. But you know what, my relationship with food has changed. i am over the hype of it all. I started this for me, and I planned on finishing strong. Thanks for the encouragement!

4 month surgirversary today!! I'm down 46.5 inches, 66 lbs, and only 16lbs to goal!!! I feel so great, I am so thankful for my sleeve!!

Anxiously waiting on approval for VSG with Kaiser. I had my preoop last week. I thought that was it, however, I still need another approval.

OK people, what have you done or wish to do after surgery that you haven't done in a while? Me, I can't wait to run again. Running is something I enjoyed in the past, however, my knees can't take it right now.
