How slow was it cooked? What type of curry? I’m very interested in making this.

Extremely more affordable and highly skilled if you choose the right surgeon. Miami is a high volume plastics hub (like Dominican Republic, Colombia [highly recommend Medellin] and Mexico), so these surgeons may see more patients in their lifetimes than others. They do tend specialize in a style (vixen, pinup, lush and full bodied etc) but they will work with your particular frame just be very specific what you want.

Well that’s another piece to the puzzle! I’m sure you’ve heard how hard it it’s to lose weight during these life stages. But don’t give up hope! You can still do it. Keep us updated if anything you do breaks through the plateau. ❤️

I can’t always do GERD eating since I need my Protein and consuming yogurt, cottage cheese with other nutrients sometimes triggers my reflux. I don’t think it’s the combination of the two that’s stoping my weight loss. I may have built more muscle especially in my legs and arms but the belly muscle I’m still trying to build up.
The guidelines lines I’m referring to are :
Limiting sugar intake to 5g or less per serving, Protein forward meals, limiting carbs and fats. Separation of meals and drinks (30 min rule), limiting calories from drinks, etc. (I’m sure others can chime in with more Bariatric specific rules that they were given to follow).
What is your doctors recommendations now that you have stalled? How tall are you? What does your exact calorie intake look like weekly? Do you accurately track it or eyeball the amounts? Have you used any online calculators to figure out your BMR, visceral fat, lean muscle mass, etc? These can help you figure out your excess body weight . Also InBody and DEXA scans will tell exactly how much excess fat you are carrying.

There wasn’t a piece left of that so a success. The Tomato had semi dried Tomato tapenade & caramelised onion under the tomato - was left with half so lunch & dinner sorted for a couple of days 😉. I so love the ease of pre made puff pastry. The salad cos, pear, fennel, walnuts & cranberries with a red wine vinegar. My serve in the last pxt - each piece was an 8th of the tart. Finished with a fruit platter & a truffled brie cheese & omg was that truffled goodness.
Ok this is gorgeous! What did you use for the tart crust? Homemade? Pre made?

Perhaps you can switch it up and follow some WLS lifestyle modifications to see if it breaks your plateau. Good luck ❤️

Congratulations! It’s a really noticeable difference especially in the fit of jeans.

In cases where you've had the surgery, are doing everything right with nutrition and exercise, and still can't lose weight, I've heard a drug like Mounjaro can make a huge difference. It's worth asking about as that seems to be something that some sleeve patients really benefit from during the maintenance years.
Unfortunately newer GLP-1 agonists like for weightloss like Zepbound (counterpart to mounjaro) and Wegovy have limited availability in Europe. But I believe Saxenda is available in Italy.

Happy Birthday!!!
I was also very complainant in the early stages post op. I looked through my archived photos and I can’t find any evidence of a food related birthday (and I take pics of everything). I definitely hung out with friends and family but there was no food was around. Weird.
These were also during the times I would carry a spare Protein Shake in my bag just incase I needed one so I’m not surprised. I’m willing to bet a made an iced coffee with a Protein shake. I still generally prefer non food based events/parties/celebrations because I can always eat before or after.

345 cals. basically ate it all.
i've become accustomed to not eat anything just for the sake of eating it...thereby undoing a lifetime of "clean your plate" mentality. so even if it's a tiny morsel of food that keeps me from a polished plate, i won't eat it unless i actually, really, want to eat it.
Same!!! My BF used to ask why can’t I just finish the two bites I’d leave?Because I did want to, I had enough! Then it became I should order less (I only order apps and small plates). He really tried to manage my food portions until I chewed him out. Sir, why are you so obsessed with me 😂 JK
I realized I didn’t grow up in the finish everything on you plate type of home (and truth be told I’m now realizing I have been a picky eater my entire life so it wouldn’t have worked well on me). But he absolutely was forced or shamed into a clean plate. It’s really damaging long term especially if your parents don’t prepare healthy choices (or just don’t cook well 🤣)
I glad you got to break free of the cycle ❤️

Protein Belgium waffle
I used to make these often in the first year after WLS when I was concerned about reaching protein goals. I lost my trusted recipe so I’m back to experimenting again. This one was a little too thick and dry but overall not bad because the flavor was nice.
I tried it with strawberry jam and agave caramel sauce. I prefer the caramel sauce.
The tracking is for two full-size waffles without jam or sauce (I only ate half of one waffle so 136 cals, 19 g protein & 10 g carbs)
