Loose jiggly skin -- what do I have to look "forward" to?

I'm just starting to notice the looser skin (and its not that bad) when I hit around 170 lbs which coincidentally is about 100 lbs loss from my heaviest weight ever. I see it in my upper thighs, arms and of course breasts. I had children more than a decade ago so that damage is set in stone But eventually I hope with toning or plastics I won't have to worry anymore. Bowel Movements - TMI !

I don't know about the commercial laxatives but I often use a sugar substitute ( sugar alcohols, stevia etc) which consumed in higher amount act as a laxative. This gives the stool a looser texture and no pain as it is excreted. Please anyone chime in if the other stuff does the same. Sent from my Coolpad 3622A using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. You'll fit more protein in that way so you'll get to your daily requirements faster, but with other non nutritional foods (if you are still eating them like rice, etc) I would recommend you chew less so less can fit in. When I am hungry but have already met my daily caloric intake I eat kale salad and chew a little less and BOOM I'm filled and it only costs me 50ish calories. But protein I have to chew for a while... Sent from my Coolpad 3622A using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. This week my diet was relaxed as i ate a slice of cake, a slice of pie, a tortilla chip (lol) and a few pieces of fruit. so the scale decided to move again. After a month. No rhyme or reason to stalls I swear. If I was perfect on plan , no change....

Doesn't that blow your mind? I've had this happen time and time again. Makes me shake my head. I think sometimes a shake up to the ole metabolism wakes it up? Who knows....just glad once in a while we can have our cake (within reason) and lose weight, too:)

    Gaining weight

Put the scale away for a while if it causes anxiety ... instead measure other things such as food by the cup, water by the ounce, inches lost, ability gained, confidence boosted and time rewound.

    Forced malabsorption

For me it creates a laxative effect in high amounts, for you it may be another food Sent from my Coolpad 3622A using BariatricPal mobile app

    Forced malabsorption

No I can't have most because of ingredients, so just real whole food fiber and it works great mist of the time but some days when I'm eating dense protein there is no room for leafy greens I notice it stays in longer so I purposely force it out. That's what I called it forced malabsorption because I'm certain its not fully digested. Sent from my Coolpad 3622A using BariatricPal mobile app

People telling me what to do without had surgery

If it's someone you love (like your sister) you don't shoot them, lol. If its someone you don't love like (nosey Michelle in processing) you don't shoot them, lol. But one relationship you want to maintain forever so tread lightly even when frustrated, but nosey Michelle can get a piece of your mind.. Sent from my Coolpad 3622A using BariatricPal mobile app

  23. I wish ANYONE would have just mentioned to me it was a possibility for me, ANYONE. I found out on my own after coming to my wits end trying to find my own course of action. I did not care about feelings at all, just my health. But not everyone feels that way.
