    Yeah I was very scared but now that I have done the surgery I know that there was nothing to be afraid of it was so easy . I had my surgery in September 2017 and i have lost 50 pounds and I am no longer diabetic I am so happy

    I get hungry also and I am tired of soup and pudding I tried some mashed potatoes they were good I get hungry also I started eating popcicle that helps my hunger and lots of Gatorade

    I took two weeks off my short term disability kicked in and that really helped . I get so tired in the middle of the day.i am glad I did as I work in a hospital

    3 days to Go!

    My surgery was September 13 last Wednesday I think I worried to much cause it wasn't that bad and to my surprise today I weighed 10 pounds less today it was all worth every minute I burped a lot my mom went and got me some gasx. Chewables I was a little sore for a couple days I am so happy I did it . good luck you'll be fine

    What helped me the most was chap stick my lips were so dry and I'm glad I took my own socks cause my feet were cold a house coat cause they make you get up and walk after surgery and my bedroom slippers

    I am very happy I had the surgery I have no regrets I used to jog daily and lost hardly any weight and my blood sugar was high since my surgery I haven't needed to take any of my diabetes medicine

      It can be a real hassle to find a ride for this kind of thing, but if you can possibly do so, do. You may be a little off from the anesthetic even if you feel okay, and it's better to be safe.

      I wouldn't recommended it cause the pain from surgery and endoscopy can be hazardous. Every reacts differently to anesthetic procedures it can give you headaches, short of breath and not to mention sleepiness. So proceed with caution cause waking up to see yourself in an accident or handcuffs is not something I would chance after having a general anesthesia procedure.

      If the doc says you need a ride, you should adhere to the rule, even if you don't feel like technically need it. I can only imagine your reflex wouldn't be all that great after anesthesia if someone was about to run you off the road though. Best to be careful and get a ride. I was too tired and loopy after having an endoscopy (non wls related) and had to have my ride.
