  1. I know it’s really difficult. I think it’s because the day is getting near. All these meds is crazy. Good luck.....I’m hear for ya[emoji846]
  2. I’m glad your doing well. I’m on day one and I can’t have any foods...all liquids[emoji51][emoji30]
  3. I start my all liquids today. My surgery is scheduled for 10/11/17. I’m just hoping and praying I make it through this. I went for my last pre op appointment yesterday and they gave me 12 prescriptions to start before and after surgery. Also, I was told I’ll be in the hospital for one night and the next day a nurse will come to my home. My doctor is sending me home on an IV. S**t is getting real now. I’m so scared. At times I wonder if this is really my last resort at losing weight and why I have to do something so tragic. Please pray that I make it through this. 4. Your so right. Thanks same to you. I start my pre op tomorrow
  5. Your not alone. I don’t have much support either. We have to do this for ourselves and not anyone else. After others see the benefits of the surgery, they will all come around. I’m here for you.
  6. I have the nutribullet RX. You can do smoothies, shakes, purer foods, and best of all it has a heat setting to make soups. It's really compact and worth the money. Runs between 99 to 149. Hope this helps
  7. Your not too far from me. I use to live in Bowie, now I'm in Columbia, MD
  8. Me too.....enjoy because I think this will be the last of it. Lol
  9. October 11th....I just don't want to gain anymore weight. I can't stop having food funerals...lol. I start my Pre-op on September 29th
  10. I'm just curious...how is everyone doing on their eating now. Are you guys having food funeral like me....lol
  11. I see September thread is starting a Facebook page. I thinking we could too.. are you guys interested?
  12. No problem. Keep me posted and good luck
  13. Chicken broth and sugar free jello may be good too.
  14. Good luck! I just got my date for October 11....I'm so scared. Worried about doing the pre-opp too
  15. Wanted to see if anyone else has that date or close to it so we can do the pre-op together. I also have to have my gallbladder removed. I excited and scared at the same time. I was reading an article yesterday that says individuals that undergo weight loss surgery will start to regain after 5 years. I'm not sure of the percentage but it was rather high. I been reading other post on here and hearing a lot of people being disappointed in having hunger come back and have to be prescribed appetite suppressants. I can't understand how the hunger comes back if you have the surgery. Is it true that the stomach stretches? Some say yes, some say no. This is a major surgery and I'm paying out of pocket so this is a major investment for me. Just want to see how others are feeling about all this...
